After using the phone for a while, I just set the refresh rate to 60hz. It's more than enough for daily usage. Saves battery alot too

Bought during 10.10 sales. Battery life quite good. Estimated battery life of 34hrs.

POCO X3 90hz lock (no root)

For those who want to save more battery, can set at 90hz.

How to force MIUI to use 90hz instead of 120hz. (No root needed)

If you have stock MIUI or EU rom and you want to use 90hz instead of 120hz to save a bit of battery, please read this guide carefully.

Steps to follow:
1. Set your refresh rate to 120hz
2 Download and install SetEdit from the Play Store or as an apk.
3. Switch to System Table
4. Find "user_refresh_rate" key and change value to 90 DONE!

You can check the screen refresh rate by using the Power Monitor on Development Settings. This setting will persist even after reboot. Just don't change the refresh rate in settings.

Thank you!

Try at your own risk **Still AdaptiveSync display **

Weird. Mine doesn't show 120hz in your link. I read it should automatically detect?

Yeah maybe cause mobile or Android browser don't support, but the idea is there, more hz more smooth up to like 100+ then can't tell the difference.

Tks..now i understand better. I'll switch to 60hz to play the same game and see if I can notice the diff.

some games like call of duty can use 120hz to improve the game play fluency. some other simpler games will play just fine at 60hz.

Just tried 60hz..can't really tell any significant diff yet. Will monitor for a while..

Btw ur batt app say charge to 80% can optimize batt life..I always charge to 100%..must change habit already.

Did the settings via adb instead of downloading another app.. "adb shell settings put system user_refresh_rate 90" & reboot..

use the phone till battery around 30% left, then charge to 80%, this will prolong the battery life. but if need to go out all day, then better to charge to 100% in case.

i have both. nova gives more customisation options, but i'm using poco launcher for now, as i like the "3 fingers swipe down" to screen capture option.

the 3 finger swipe down screen capture is not exclusive feature to poco launcher.. its a system wide thing that works everywhere, so u can safely abandon poco launcher..
