hi, anyone using this as a 5G phone? does it work on M1 network?
goggled and it seems to indicate this is 5G enabled... but wondering if they are compatible with the M1 network.

This is a 4G only phone. But if course can use on 5G network but at 4G speed only.

Yes, auto on. There's a setting within wifi assist page.

Wifi assist is to use 4G to access internet if wifi is weak. Turn it on only when one has plenty of data.

Well, it turns on my WiFi when am home.

This is another setting. Not the same.
The one u mention uses 4g data instead of wifi when wifi signal is weak

Outside data auto on, at home WiFi auto on.

it will become a problem when both are on at the same time pulling data from wifi and 4G. if u have enough 4G data, then no worries lah.

Wifi auto on.. The wifi scanning need to on...means phone will auto scan for wifi 24hrs..not good for battery life.

my wifi, data, BT and nfc are always on with all my phones. never felt they are draining the battery.

nfc is just a technology. u need to ask whether google pay app will work. google pay should work if u can download and install the sg version.

Any brother/sister here using "export version" of the phone? With bootloader locked and Without rooting, can you use GooglePay to pay for mrt or buses here? Thanks.
