But those are run by Singaporeans haha. Though i think my current Xiaomi phones will be my first and last. Probably try Realme and if they are also f-up i'll go back to Samsung.

Its actually $285 vs $299 if you compare 64gb or $305 vs $349 if you compare 128gb.

But for qoo10 the price can be discounted even further. Take the 128gb as example $305 - $5 qpoints(if you have it) - $20 or $30 coupon(fingers crossed 11/11 sale event will have $30 coupon) - $15 savings from gift card(take risk of buying 3 x $100 gift card from carousell @ $95 each) = ~$$255. Qoo10 also currently running a few cashback promo when using various bank cards for payment.

On the other hand for shopee, 128gb going for $349 - $10 shopee coins(if you have it) - possibly $30 seller voucher(according to shopee mall marketing material for 11/11 sale. NOT CONFIRM WILL HAVE) - possibly $20-30 site or bank voucher(shopee now only allows one or the other in stacking of codes aka seller + site code or seller + bank code only). My guess for best possible price would be ~$279 + rubbish freebies.

Regarding local warranty, it feels like MI9T situation all over again. Service center at funan insists on dated receipts or invoices as proof of purchase when they should be using imei check for warranty validity. Knowing the quality of service rendered by our local XM service centers, got local warranty as good as no warranty. Also, this is a sub $300 phone so i rather take the savings over local warranty(or rather the lack of it).

EDIT: SONG LAR. Qoo10 has a $30 off $250 coupon for 11/11.

More add: The shopee seller forever OOS for blue colour and shopee bank and site codes have tendency to be fully redeemed within seconds. Too lazy to play "fastest checkout wins" game so i rather purchase from qoo10.

Take seller's word for it regarding warranty or go buy from those reputable local sources if you die die 100% want to be able to claim warranty when needed. There is another listing on qoo10 going at $349 before coupon for 128gb and that one guarantee + chop local stock with EIN sticker on box. Nobody will so free go visit service center, with a perfectly working phone in hand, just to check validity of warranty.

I checked with Xiaomi shop in Funan on Pcco x3. They dont cover warranty for this model. Or they try to smoked me to buy model they carry?
