Batt life quite good. Now wfh my phone nearly always on, either autoing some stage on dragalia or play yt or something like that.

Can last around one charge per day? Assuming I have the phone like 95% of the time running something from the moment I wake up till I sleep (yes phone addiction is a thing kids, don't do social media drugs)

I'm looking to get another spare wall plug/cable for office/portable use tho. Any suggestions? Or just buy xiaomi one?
thanks for this!
Do you have a guide to do this? I want to stop links from opening in stock YouTube instead of my vastly superior YouTube Vanced

this vid is not bad, the software used seems pretty user friendly as well. will try it out later.

Used for 2ish days liao. So far so good no problem. I just stick to the original phone case and screen protector, maybe will switch to a matte screen cos I'm used to it. When Spigen makes a case I will likely switch to it too.

Unstuck my pop socket from previous phone and stuck to the OEM casing. Put in 256gb (the max) micro sd also.

The diff between oled and lcd very big, takes a while to get used to. But not that bad. I saw somd discussion on ghosting, I would say ya got a bit but not that much.

Gaming wise my main games are dragalia lost and the occasional pokemon go, this one not bad I can technically run 3 pogo accounts simul on this phone to raid now (normal app, island to clone work app, then xiaomi dual apps for a 3rd pogo app). Dragalia runs great, higher speed than my previous oneplus 6.

Camera not too bad, haven't really had a chance to test out, installed a gcam I found that works with it, seems decent, if the image file size is a bit too big lol (10mb per photo damn)

Overall I would say it's been a pretty good buy so far?

u resolved the 5G wifi problem?

I haven't cooked custom rom for years but I can tell you what cooks do is run it thru a so call "kitchen" script and check the log for any errors.. EU have been doing it for years but doesn't mean there ain't any bugs

but if its stock based, it should have the fixes from xiaomi integrated right? thanks for bringing light to this fix, never thought this "homemade hack" can solve this prob i had for so long.

nice, sounds like you're having a blast with it. the OLED on the op6 was a decent panel, although i only owned mine for a matter of days.

hows the battery life for you? im quite curious, esp w ur usage patterns.

I have the same WIFI issue, after transferring the WIFI details from older phone it stopped working. Had to reenter password.

Already uninstalled. :s22: Try using Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tools.

Ya I know, looking up the video someone else posted earlier. But yeah I meant that it's treated like a system app la.

I'm not good with fiddling around with these things so hopefully it's straightforward enough that a dummy like me can do it.

Quite idiot proof, just uninstall whatever you don't want. I just clear everything besides Google Apps.

This new phone is gonna take a while to setup properly. :s13:

Just the removal of Bloatware would be an added bonus, is all.

its ok lah, u wun see the lights everytime also LOL
The lights really useful leh..like missed call red, SMS blue, WhatsApp purple, group chat yellow. Then don't need to wake the screen, just see color will know the importance.
Wah..like that very sian liao.

Always On Display? hope they bring the feature back one day.
Coming from Redmi Note 3, the colour led really important. Took sometime to get used to only white colour.
No residue, now using it naked. :s13:

No shiat. :s22: Apply dunno how many SP on electronics first time I encounter halo effect with BLACK border. I applied both pieces in case 1 is faulty, both shiat.
A lot of pre-installed apps, like 5 different shovelware games. :s22:
