Bring it to official shop at Funan for checks. Once they tell you motherboard change, then advice is dont bother liao. Easily say $200? IMHO Redmi and Poco phones are not really that worth paying for official retailer repairs, the staff also will not encourage you. And even if you don't mind the money and minimal warrenty after repairs, the repairs can take around 1 - 2 weeks depending if they have the specific parts locally too.
If you really want to recover the phone for data, one way is to find ah beng shop but at own risk. Personal experience with such neighbourhood shops is trial and error. One thing good about such shops, most of the times they can repair your phone without wiping your memory BUT personal experience the phones for some reason will start to behave weirdly after some months. So usually when I do is after repair, i quickly backup the stuff out, keep the phone as backup use liao. Another good thing is that such shops can usually repair within half a day. I done it for screen and motherboard replacement, half a day to 1 day can be collected.
Just curious though. Which phone is a good replacement for X3 Pro currently? I moved from Redmi Note 2 Pro > Redmi Note 4 Pro > Poco F1 > Poco X3 Pro. Actually I wouldn't have left F1 if not that it is only 64GB and memory space is running flat. Poco X3 Pro for me is a good replacement on 128GB. I don't need fancy photography, don't need ultra flat and light weight. It is quite a monster in terms of performance, though it gets a little heavy to carry at times...
