Off it. For me it makes the phone stuttery..... I'm using 12gb variant which is more then enough. I off it for every phone i use regardless how much ram it has. Even 8gb ram i disable it too

Same here, never used it for my POCO devices.
Never experience any lags/stutters even for my aged X3 PRO till now.

for #6, why disable it?

in the early iteration of memory extension ...... users tested it doesn't boost gaming performance , or making apps in background close less
sounds good in theory but implementation not there .... no benefit felt

but have report of people brick their phone into boot loop due to this

cheaper set with lower memory open less apps ...... want gaming pay for the extra 4gb ram ....... using the setting for extra virtual ram doesn't "save you"

most people leave it at default ON ... or they like to see the extra number feel shiok

Yeah, most ppl knows RAM extension just a "gimmick" unless chiu gullible/naive person

And some retailers like to use this gimmick to "mislead" ppl when describing the RAM specs ie. simi 4+4 , 8+8, 12+12 etc

If this gimmick gotch use or works, why wud there be more sexpensive physical RAM add-ons until 16/24GB

i think its works only when the RAM fully used then the "extension" kicks into effect.... however at a huge stuttering performance, just like pc's "page cache" with hdd

I bought on 11.11 sales for $308 after every coupons and discounts.

fingerprint sensor no issues with anti-blueray type, only privacy, sometime matte protector have issues.
