if I want to tether mobile data from x6 pro to say iPad, can I share it via wifi, only only via Bluetooth

hmm. i have a samsung phone, cannot share data hotspot via wifi.

from the video shared previously, it seems that this x6 pro cannot share data hotspot via wifi as well.
bluetooth ok.

somehow i feel data transfer speed via bluetooth not as fast as wifi.

For the X6 Pro... I only used the 12% off voucher... further discounts of $20 and another $20 is automaticcally applied w/o me doing anything

not true .... the final takeaway price after early bird and promo for x6 pro were much lower
example this post i made early in this thread , 3rd February .... $405 only ... this is final checkout price ........ the article dated 30 Jan mentioned $449 price

3rd March i posted another data point ... $358.55 after promo and coupon .... already near $100 difference from the article price after 5 weeks
by middle of 2024 it was around $300-330 .... august september it dropped under $300 ... october onwards raised back into 305-330 except for 11.11 and 12.12 and mi online store ........

in other words , on shopee and lazada from mid september to last day of 2024 were around 100 days but only about 4+4 actual days it was cheaper than before september

ergonomic chairs and poco phones do this price bouncing up and down every month .... sale day lower ... normal day higher ...... you buy during normal day you pay higher .....
its how they reap more profit on buyers who look at it 1 day and confirm buy without waiting .... they look at current day price , sales 1000 , they think 1000 other buyers agree with this pricing and they should too

there is no true "original" price since they can easily drop price 50 , shop coupon 50 , platform coupon 30-45 ........ it's very wild ... depends on whether the person refer to highest price they seen or the lowest price after stacking coupons and promo
poco phones on retirement , will bounce into absurdly high price +50% in the shopee or lazada store to discourage buyers

in recap you can see most buyers paid $300 region , some lucky ones paid 10% lower than $300 ...... but you can frequently see the "original" price 400 something .... if you believe it then you lose ..... i've seen it before , somebody posted his screenshot he paid 400+ ... but company sponsored him

it's common for poco to do that on their $200 to $600 phones .... don't believe the higher price ... only believe the real price after promotion and coupons , together with the patience to wait for sale day

you "feel" they did a 40% cut but very few people actually paid the higher price

it is literally impossible to have paid the original price unless the person bought it via lazada desktop website which have less layers of coupon compared to phone app .... or the person purposely untick the coupon box to checkout without any coupon , or he ordered second phone quickly after the first causing no coupon applied on second order

Yes its abt the same for every xiaomi / poco / redmi phones, cannot based on the SRP.
if really want a gauge, use the Early Brd launch price for the model and depreciate it accordingly over 9mths life cycle before reaching "clearance price" to make way for next model launch
