of course... it is a steal for such specs.
(y) it is.
is saving around $30 for 128gb less storage a good value?

of course not, a cheap sd card is around that price but the performance is way slower, just get the more storage option.

less likely to run out of space and in the future, you can treat your phone as a decent wireless portable hard drive with it's wifi 6 capabilities
Definitely won't consider the 128GB. Apps take up too much space nowadays and with large sized photos/videos..space runs out fast.

Lowest was $323~$329.

Could not find another coupons other than a $1 off :ROFLMAO:. Decided to just get it for $357. This is less than half the $800 i paid for the Realme GT2Pro!

good for you, a friend of mine couldn't decide to get a X3 Pro last December for around $260, now there no more X3 Pro for sale :ROFLMAO:

a few people think it could be the last few F3 being sold before getting discontinued for the F4 launch

I guess folks nowadays are very pampered by cheap phones. next time i suspect it won't be so cheap as costs of material are rising fast and company like xiaomi needs to make profits too.

they don't want to pay over $300 for a "phone"

The reason is dumb and I highly recommend skipping as it's a huge salty rant
Because they brought two phone for their kid a year ago without knowing what the other were planning, the kid choose the better one obviously

When they complain that their phone is lagging and ask me for recommendation and they keep delaying the purchase by bring up the $300 phone with a 3.5 year old entry level SOC, the worser phone of the two for their kid, to replace their current phone with a 6 year old flagship SOC (note SOC age is not phone age)

Fun fact, base on benchmark and spec sheet online, that $300 phone is worse than their current flagship in all but screen and battery but they don't believe, I tell them to transfer their phone and just try it if they don't believe me, they just keep putting it off saying they are too busy with other stuff

It's highly annoying to be honest, if they gonna ask for recommendation, don't just give excuses afterwards, especially when those excuses are those I have already told them to explore.

Some people just never tried both an actual flagship phone and budget phone, they just don't understand that there is a BIG difference

Not to mention the countless crappy "mid-high/near flagship" priced phone with entry level soc that just makes all phone look bad since there isn't much different compare to the budget phone they are coming from, they end up thinking it's not worth spending a decent amount for a phone

i used a few sd 6xx phones and went back to 845 with the poco f1..
no regrets honestly, waiting 5 seconds for every single app to open is a pain in the ass.

I guess they'll prefer all the $1K to $2K phones?
I wish, they are using $300-$700 phone with basically an under $300 phone SOC, and now they refuse to consider any phone above $300 since the past phone they chose is all so crappy

naw, that's worse than the $300 phone

Hey guys, do you change battery yourself or pay somebody to do it?

You are supposedly able to buy replacement part from xiaomi, there is a price list on their website

I think the price list is for when using their servicing service, https://www.mi.com/sg/service/support/materialprice.html

Not sure how trustworthy the battery from local phone shop are

$16.25 for battery and SGD $30 for labor

  1. The prices stated above are in Singapore Dollar and inclusive of local taxes and VAT.
  2. The prices are purely indicative for the above stated out-of-warranty repairs and the final quotation after inspection, respectively the invoice amount from Xiaomi Authorized Service Center shall be binding.
  3. After inspecting the smartphone, Xiaomi Authorized Service Center will confirm the total costs for repair and inform consumers. If Xiaomi Authorized Service Center inspects the device and finds that other spare parts need to be replaced, consumers need to pay extra fee for parts replacement.
  4. In case the smartphone was sent to Xiaomi Authorized Service Center to perform an inspection, but the quotation is refused by consumer, the Inspection cost needs to be paid by consumer.
  5. In case the quotation is accepted, only Component and Repair Labor cost will apply.
  6. The final repairs pricing offered by Xiaomi Authorized Service Center.

Ownself change cheaper.

BM4Y below $25.

depend on if xiaomi even sell the battery itself or if you can buy decent battery

this is not your usual 5-10W charging battery, but a up to 33W charging, i be worry about fake low quality battery failing with high charge rate
