How much longer are you expecting for 10-20% performance difference? 1 additional phone cycle?

When the battery stop holding charges, you probably want to replace it already, cpu + display power usage and battery tech are expected for great improvements in the coming years, so it wouldn't be surprising if phone lasts twice as long or more

You be surprise how many people who don't actually know how to choose what phone to buy. Although I do expect a bit more from those who found out and chooses POCO themselves

I know too many people who brought specific model base on recommendation but cheaped out on the specs (storage/ram), (eg: received link, open product page, chooses cheapest model)

At least recent mid-high phone give reasonable amount of storage like 128gb and not just 64gb

Some end up with like ideally 34gb usable (out of 64gb, keeping 10gb free), of which 30gb is used by whatsapp, facebook, mewatch, qoo10, lazada, shopee and banking app



Every few months they come to me, I move their old stuff over to the sd card, all because they wanted to save $50

So much space is used by whatsapp for some people, they have it set to download every single dumb video people send them (default)

If someone is buying the F3 over the X3 Pro/GT, I be expecting them to be ether gaming or for videos/movies, F3 is overkill for normal day usage anyway

For both example use cases, it always good to have extra space, if for some reason someone manage to used up way too much space, not only performance takes a big hit, you might be shortening your device lifespan (write amplification) and you might not be able to update ether

For the slight difference in price F3 offer quite a bit more isn't it?

SOC is more matured, better architecture, better efficiency too. S855/860 isn't known well for power efficiency.

F3 being the flagship for Poco has quite a bit more flagship features/build too. If not wrong some reviews says F3 image processing also better than X3. Not sure if that's true. F3 has 5G too. For me it was a no brainer between X3 Pro and F3. Not sure how is it for others haha. Just sharing, no harsh feeling ya.

I don't think $100 is consider slight for a lot of people, especially just for 5G, display and a few other stuff, <$247 vs <$347 during 2021 December sale

People cheaped out for less, $50/$30 for 64gb/128gb storage, ordering of price and storage is correct for X3 NFC/X3 GT

Not to mention the common people "must have" sd card slot

F3 has 5G too. For me it was a no brainer between X3 Pro and F3. Not sure how is it for others haha. Just sharing, no harsh feeling ya.

5G is a gimmick so far, also the F3 as far as I am aware, doesn't support the super fast mmWave and the bands uses by some telco in singapore

I choose the F3 over X3 pro because this is intended to also replace my decade old linux laptop with termux linux desktop, no gpu acceleration so no gaming but way faster than before upgrading the laptop in 2020 HDD performance and about the same as SSD perforance

I have a samsung note 8 as spare phone. Already 4 yrs+? I still use it for samsung pay. My child is using IP7 that I passed down to her. 6 yrs+ old already? Both r 128gb. Need to charge them more often, but it is definitely still usable.

So yes, people out there r still using old phones.

Only left many Poco F3 6GB/128GB variant.

battery is still working? then just continue using, just backup important data often, some phone once the battery dead, it refuse to even turn on even when plug into power

My handed down S6 edge battery died a few months ago and I sure ain't going out of my way to replace it, even if it means the data is inaccessible, surprisingly my older 8gb, android 4.2.2, Tab 3 is still working fine

If the phone is going around 40% discount after stacking platform and shop voucher from the recommended retail price, most likely the phone has reach it's end of production stage.

The Poco M3 around 11.11 and 12.12 shopee sales stack coupons can get it around $130+.

Both Poco M3 and Poco F3 reaches its 1 year mark from the launch date get close to 40% discount.

Maybe those looking into getting Poco F4 GT with 40% discount, maybe have to wait until next year May 2023 provided by then Poco F4 GT still have surplus inventory.

No issues. Tried both. Safetynet passes until the next time google decides to screw us up. If this happens have to wait for rom dev to implement fix with the next update
