and I just recvd my OTA update today.

any idea how to use fingerprint unlock after I used gesture (in Nova) to lock screen?

what do you mean? does it not work?
i am using stock poco launcher.
Just put finger on reader as per usual .

have you set it up?

Okay, found some irritating bugs on 12.5.1

1. Do not disturb schedules now can only set 1 timing. I used to set 2 different schedules for weekdays and weekends to end at different timing. Now can only set 1 means i need manually disable DND during weekdays as i wake up earlier for work
2. My device now stuck at dark mode. I go settings > display, tap on light mode nothing happen. Doesnt matter as i always use dark mode
3. Media player notification bug. After i exit my music player, there will be a space before the notifications. Seemed like can be fixed via ADB after googling, but not sure if will affect other things

The main one that cause the most inconvenience is the DND. I checked on mi11 ultra miui 12.6 also removed. Seems like they removed that function totally

Now considering seriously to flash custom rom or eu rom liao

Posted in XDA, and confirmed xiaomi removed multiple schedules for DND as xiaomi.eu rom doesnt have it too

Do you have the link to solve the music player bug? I'm experiencing this with Spotify and the short term solution is to force stop Spotify Everytime I finish using it.

Should be able to support after deactivating volte carrier check by dialling *#*#86583#*#*

Now thinking i should use Mimover and shift everything or do a fresh load. My mimax 64g is overloaded, with the 256gb should be enough to include all the junk.

i recommend do a fresh start ba.... mi max firmware is quite some time back liao. not sure if there will be compatibility issues when u shift some of the apps over

Should be able to support after deactivating volte carrier check by dialling *#*#86583#*#*

did that and yeah, shows Volte for Giga now.

*edit ; after testing with call. Seems like only show volte icon, but not able to use call and data at the same time.

Make sure you are using the System Built-in Lock widget and not some other 3rd party lock screen widget.

Do a reboot and try again. Sometimes require a reboot to work, i encounter this before
