My f3 is still at v12.5.2 and even if I go manual refresh update, it said latest firmware and not showing v12.5.3. how u guys update to 12.5.3? Manual download from website? 12.5.3 is marked as Stable Beta so it is not available for the mass update yet?

I'm on global ROM and I received the update OTA.

The new 12.5.3 update might be pulled off due to it causing random reboots.

IMO 12.5.2 to 12.5.3 like no difference

You can download the incremental update from here. But I highly advise against updating.

thanks man much appreciated... haha i'm an update *****.. but i guess i'll give this a skip since so many of u r facing issues. at least its might be my OTA update not working (i hope!)

Update: i did give it a try to update manually but i get the message that my account need to be sign up for Beta test before being allowed to install the update? how did u guys get around this or you just flash via PC.

encountered 3 experiences of persistent quick reboots to Miui logo whenever screen is turn off (be it auto sleep or double tap/power button). only solution is a proper full phone reboot via menu

Unlikely.
If you want expandable storage, then go for Poco X3 better. Specs wise slightly worse than F3 only
