Oh, it's actually better than the previous update already. This one so far, only problems i remember is the recent app menu not working with 3rd party and the phone is not smooth.

The UI abit messed up. Sometimes go back home will be empty.

U using Poco Launcher? I'm using Nova and except for the recent menu not working, everything is fine.

My Biometric no problem with the text. How come like different issues

Yeah Poco launcher...the text was much higher before the update so no idea why...

I got nova but will it still have like a delay when going back home screen?

I dunno but i don't remember seeing that, only issue i have is with the UOB app when i click on the fingerprint login, the UOB fingerprint place holder is different position from the phone so i keep reacting to the UOB one and nothing happen

I also don't remember got delay for going back home screen but then the whole phone is stuttering while navigating. Rebooting helps a bit then won't be long before it happens again. I'm only glad there's no battery drain and the sharing is fixed. I found another way around the 3rd party issue with the recent menu but it's not pretty haha

Hmm maybe when free go try again...

I remember previously I stop using cos got a slight delay, Google and apparently is when Google's problem with gestures of something and besides the double tap to lock screen needs to allow some accessibility thingy and it keep resets.

Anyone here face this issue when you are using the phone and a WhatsApp or Telegram notification comes in, the phone screen goes blank then the lock screen appears?

Very hard to capture the scenario to report as a bug to the devs.

I think it was reported but not sure if they gonna fix it. People are suggesting to turn off notifications for WhatsApp or disable fingerprint unlock to solve it. Anyway there's a new update MIUI 12.2.5 but is global ROM for now.

They recently updated the Poco launcher which fixes this issue.

Not sure about launchers tho

12.2.5 still a "beta" stable, so only a rollout to select users. Plus given the number of bugs unfixed as seen on Mi Community, I have doubts it will actually have a full rollout.

Hahaha yup I do. Thinking of getting N10 to replace aging Max 3, have to make do with smaller screens as current line no longer have big screen like Max line.
