Even with that off still can tap and wake with fingerprint. If you on that option the fingerprint will light up everytime you lift the phone.

When the screen is off, there is a fingerprint icon. Can just tap and unlock the phone in one step.

Thanks guys for the prompt reply! good to hear that the behaviour is similar to Huawei, because i tried Oneplus 7 Pro and i had to double tap the screen to wake it up, then tap on the fingerprint sensor, so got 1 extra step.

Only thing is I saw from reviews that the face unlock needs an extra swipe upwards to launch the front cam.. oh well, i guess that's how Xiaomi preserves the life of the stepper motor

I saw one retailer in q10.. selling redmi 9/s pro and add on is pocofone f1 without box... dun know how true... is damed good for the $$$ sell away the f1 poco the redmi note 9 is cheap

Its just me that I would want a 1 year xiaomi warranty in case anything goes wrong. Cheers

Yup working. I use for payment at shops and public transport. The NFC is sensitive, can even tap with both the back and front of the phone.

yeah. its the 10 august free coupon. if not right, just go qoo10 and ask for $50 voucher from stranger under the coupon section. trust me. it works. i tot can stack aug voucher + vip voucher but turns out only can use 1 of it
