I read another reddit that a lot of people factory reset from recovery then it took away most if not all the bugs. I plan to do it after New Year cos now everytime i take photos and videos from gcam i can't view it is super annoying. Hope the reset clear it. A lot of damm things to reconfigure back man.

If everyday use is fine then don't reset yet. Wait for me to do it after New Year and see if things work.

I just received the 12.2.3 update as well. But I'm still thinking whether to update it. And also I just want to know if 12.2.3 is the official stable update for everybody(global rom) and not for people that subscribed to receive early/beta release.

I think it's better to hold on and don't update. I read Mi Community that many bugs from earlier 12.2.1 build were not solved at all. So far for me only one big, there is no way to turn off data warning on the notification shade, the icon even appears on my AOD.

I see thanks. If it's like that then I shall keep to my 12.0.4 for the time being.
Anyway possible to share the Mi community website where you looked at other people's views as well?

Have to selectively read sometimes as many are there to troll around, asking for MIUI 12 updates for other models.

I had only the security patch pushed to me yesterday. Failed to update after i rebooted then when i booted back in to the phone, tried to check updates again and there's nothing. Disabled the early release now, think their stable=beta and beta=unstable :s13: Xiaomi update is really messy.

Think they are trying to discourage people from wanting new updates by making it as unstable as possible so everyone prefer just out of the box one and only version

The update installation issue could very well be one of reasons updated was pulled again. :s13:

If someone pulled out quickly, we wouldn't be having updates being pulled again and again
:s13:

There are some models with notoriously bad update track record in recent memory, one being Redmi Note 8 and I think we can add Poco F2 Pro to this list, 2 Android 11 builds and they still can't get basics right.
