No wonder China side still haven't officially release android 11 for k30 pro. They are releasing it with MIUI 12.5 which has many optimization and fixes. Shall look forward to 12.5 instead.

There are some models with notoriously bad update track record in recent memory, one being Redmi Note 8 and I think we can add Poco F2 Pro to this list, 2 Android 11 builds and they still can't get basics right.

Best part is some issues seems to be alive and become bugs at random, disappearing and appearing as it wish :s22::s13:

That day i tried to reboot my phone, hit power button, the 4 options came back looking weird cos it's black in colour. Then i hit reboot, nothing happen and tried a few times and actually the trigger point is above the button. Then after reboot i hit power button again then the menu is back to normal.

My Note 9S is still randomly turning on by itself every few minutes for no reason and it's not even Android 11. Happens right after MIUI 12 update.

New Global Build pushed out a few days ago, understand it was too buggy again and it was pulled. For my device, it broke Poco Launcher and Status bar but did solve the sticky data usage on my notification shade. :s13:

Right now i'll take anything i can get lol. How much worse can it be from the previous one :p

Then again you look at Mi A3, a skinless device and they still can't get it right, i can't expect too much from Xiaomi haha:s13:

I bought a Mi A2 2 years back thinking Android One will be good but only to realise Xiaomi handles the updates as well. Every month's patch broke something that was working previously, was a never ending cycle. Even the MIUI equipped Mi 6X was much more stable than Mi A2. But extraordinarily they managed to screw up the Mi A3 updates even more, from pushing Mexican software to Global units to bricking devices with the recent Android 11 build, as bad as Mi A2 updates were, at least updates didn't brick the phone.

I was so hyped for Mi A2 but there was something missing i didn't like so waited for Mi A3 then the half ass display so i waited a bit more cos i read of something about their Mi A2 too and good thing i didn't buy it. Imagine Poco F2 Pro got such update, i really can't imagine how the Android One users are suffering. I'm lucky my Note 9S lasted this long and my Poco F2 Pro is 4 months plus. See how long they can last.

But anyway, i won't stay with them anymore, for their bad software experience and also personal vendetta lol.

For me, I am still ok so long it isn't detrimental to overall usability of the phone. I have been using their phones since 2014, gotten used to MIUI liao. :s13:
