- hey all, completed the first assessment for CNB Inspector yesterday, 4th Sep. comprised of document verification, a height and weight checkup followed by the Psychometric tests (lasted around 2-3 hours). the selection timeline is as follows:

First assessment > (if shortlisted) 3 weeks wait > Clinical assessment w/ Psychologist > (if shortlisted) 3 weeks wait > Panel interview > (if shortlisted) 3~4 weeks wait > Medical checkup > 9mths at HTA etc.

CNB Inspector intake: seems to be in November and in January.

hope the above info. helps for those interested, that is all for now. ciao~

Oh my! Thanks for the information. Damn. This sounds way shorter than applying for spf inspector. Btw, how long did it take for them to reply you after you applied online?

Hi guys! For those who have went for CNB panel interview, what are the questions they ask? And is CNB shift work as well? I have applied for both spf and CNB but I’m not very sure of what to expect for CNB.

Hi all!

I would like to know the chances of applying for the Direct Entry (Insp) position with the SPF. I am a female in my last year of university overseas.

Does anyone know if the SPF is more open to taking in females? Also, can anyone share what the physical assessment is like?

Thanks!

Anyone knows how strict SPF is in their selection process? I sent in my application for Direct Entry Inspector on Thursday and was flatly rejected today - no call up for any assessment whatsoever. I am a recent graduate from NUS with a 2nd upper degree (decent CAP/GPA - about .1 away from FCH) so it is pretty discouraging for me. I did indicate that I have partial colour blindness (which is very minor) but it is still a little shocking to me that they would outright reject my application without any form of evaluation or interview..

I think one of the basic requirements is that one must not have colour blindness. Normally, they will reject those who don’t fit the requirements straight away(?)
