but most of the time people will pass the medical and move on to the next stage right? Unless they have any medical conditions not known by themselves.

Hi guys, I was shortlisted to attend the second round (Pre board interview) today initially (25th Sept) but I was sick over the weekend and couldn’t make it. I emailed in yesterday night (24th Sept) regarding this and requested for a new date because I didn’t want it to affect my performance. Will this affect my application? Haven’t receive any reply yet. Has anyone encounter this issue before? Thanks!

Hi, I was a regular in SAF. Served 5 years as a commando and was trained extensively in explosives and weapons. I have submitted my application for CNB for direct entry inspector. Although my experience in leadership and stressful situations is slightly higher, I am afraid that my private degree which is from KAPLAN would be a hindrance for me getting selected. Although the HR told me that my degree is recognized and my experience in the army can give me a upper hand in the selection, I am afraid they would ditch me due to me having a private degree. Heard there were alot of local U graduates applying for Direct entry Inspector. So stressed now. :s11:

I meet the above criteria but I heard from my friends that a lot were rejected for direct entry inspector even though they have local university degree, PES A/B1L1 and no colour blindness. Is it true that admission for this inspector job is very stringent (Do we need a local university PHD or Master’s degree to get in???)

I heard from my friends that now local university graduate, PES B1L1 and no colour blindness also can be rejected out rightly due to very stringent criteria for this inspector job. My friends were rejected and had to find other jobs because still need to survive (need money to eat). I not sure, is it we have to get local university Masters Degree or PHD to have chance to get in???

Is this for SPF direct entry inspector? Because I from what I know, SPF Direct entry inspector is one of the hardest mainly due to ALOT of applicants. They are stringent simply because there's too many people that apply. But is it the same for CNB? Because I dont think many people apply for CNB.

From what I understand, after they POC, they will be posted to an Investigation Branch for about 2 years. From they are likely to be deployed to be GRF TLs.

I think they can indicate preference of vocation at some point. Just need to see if that unit needs manpower and if the officer is up to the task.
