Hi guys! Exactly 2 weeks after my selection assessment, I have been called up for a medical screening. Does this mean anything good? One foot into SPF? How to pass medical if there is a away? :s13::s13::s13:
Right..?
I mean, i've got a friend, fit as ****, no bones broken, young. He went for medical three separate times and failed all of it. He passed panel interview three whole times but medical killed him.
Till this day, it is not known what made him fail medical. So yes, finding a way to pass medical is needed if possible.

What does medical entail? Blood tests, HBP, Heart Rate. What about eye-sight tests and hearing tests?

By the way, a big congratulation to you for getting to the next step. Ganbatte!

Is your friend PES A/B1? No reason to fail unless he is PES B1 but with potential medical problems like family history etc. They may be more stringent when it comes to regulars. Just go and see how lor there's really no way to prepare for medical. Not like you can game the system

Thanks man! Btw I'm Pes B1L1. I've also served my NS in police coast guard. It's basically pretty much the same as the medical before NS i suppose?

Hey dont get disheartened, unless you get rejection email then you are rejected. Until then there's still hope! It has been told here that no news is good news. So i guess you just gotta wait slightly longer :D

Hi guys! Just wanted to ask if our enlistment date is negotiable (for regulars)? For example you're supposed to be going on the 17/09/2019 but then you can't cos your company allow you to leave only after the 17th? For example, my company allows me to leave only after 2 months notice. So i would like to know if the enlistment date could be negotiable?

You can always ask right?

And you can also pay salary in lieu of notice or offset with whatever leave you have

You should know how long notice you need to give as per your employment contract at the beginning. If there is no mention of 2 months notice then you are not legally obligated to give any notice. You can call up SPF recruitment to check if you can enlist with the next intake or as reddevil mentioned, pay 2 months of salary in-lieu.
