Hi, im 29 , F, going for the SA for DES this coming monday, would like to ask what type of qns will they be asking during the interview? They do prefer serious, firm personality over easygoing character right?
Is it too late for me to join this career as i believe most of the newly joined sergeant is only 22-23 yrs old, whereas i will already be above 30.

29 is still fine during my SA last yr thr were a few guys that are 29 and above.Questions they asked are random so just do some research on your part, for example why u want to join spf etc.

My friend who went for his SA early feb also no news yet
According to him he said the hr briefing them said the backlog could take up abt 4 to 8 weeks but if you did not receive any rejection email for a month at least "can consider yourself safe"

• 30 Nov 2019 - Applied for DES through career@gov
• 13 Dec 2019 - Called up for SA & PI
• 23 Jan 2020 - Medical Check Up
• 10 Mar 2020 - Successful acceptance from SPF
• 1 Apr 2020 - Bond signing
• 15 Apr 2020 - Enlist

verification of documents(about 1hr+) physical check by officers(10-15mins) followed by psychometric test (1-2hrs)
then panel interview(depends if you’re in the front else next selected dates)

Went thr in the morning abt 7-8 end 3pm

Hi guys can I ask what is career gov application form and vocation certificate? I got shortlisted for des.

Career Gov Form is the one you fill up the details in the application and submit to spf , you will have to print out every page.
For vocation certificate is only if you serve national service in singapore police force then you will be required to show your vocation certificate. If not no need.
