I think it is going to take sometime as I applied for DEI two weeks ago and it is still processing!

Does anyone know if DES and DEI train together for the 6 months training or separately?

My friends who applied in dec 2019 are still waiting for their clin int
They did their SA in jan/feb

To those who applied and are waiting, just keep waiting! I've had friends recieve a call from spf after a while of no news, so wait!

Two of them had their stage 3 and 4 respectively over the last week (different people, but both trying for DEI).

Sounds about right the spf career hotline dude said the bottleneck is at the stage 3 due to the covid issue

So for those who are applying for DEI just wait bah no news means good news because according to the HR personnel you will get a rejection within 1 month after SA so if you don't it means you are in line for rd3 good luck

No separate. Even though all are trainees, DES are expected to call DEI sir/Mdm

DEI 9 months
DES 6 months

Yeah. So fret not! Just find your own routine if you're thinking about it. Distract yourself. Or even find part time I'd you're free.

It took them around a month after I sent in my application to send me the tea session (stage 1) email. So the long waits are normal!

Don't worry about it! It should be fine. Technically if yours in under processing, maybe they are looking for suitable dates for offline interview since ** is ending. I understand your stance of being nervous and worries about it as I am facing the same situation as you.

While waiting for their email, maybe you can find a job to kill time first. SPF tend to contact people at unexpected timing!

Hey, based on my experience:

Stage 1: tea session (group interview)

Stage 2: selection assessment (document verification and psychometric test)

Stage 3: clinical interview (psychologist interview)

Stage 4: panel interview (director's interview)

Stage 5(or 4a): medical check up


If you go for the stages, they'll always say that panel interview and medical are concurrent. Meaning to say, if you go for panel and get asked for medical, you might still be rejected after medical (perhaps due to panel or medical).

Reasons why failing is really up to speculation, as seen with old posts here hahaha.
