Im applied for des..i went for psychometric on 1st june still waiting for medical to be called up. Not sure how long nid to wait

I was waiting for my medical too since mid April till today that I received the email for 2nd interview

don't need to worry! for my 2nd interview, they asked me to tell them about myself and then shoot me another scenario based question. All that was done within 10 minutes. If you passed then should be medical.

Sometimes a 2nd interview usually boils down to “They might want a second take on this person whether or not he/she is fit for the force”

Not sure abt the chances but u can try re-applying back, no harm trying though. My frd applied for 5 times than got into the job.

Yes, same thing happened to me. I remember applying before my NS(failed selection, didn't even went through interview).

2nd time applied during NS while serving in coast guard(failed again, same stage)

3nd time applied 6 months after, went to interview and failed.(2015)

4th time applied and manage to passed.(2016)

Got an email in regards to documents submission on 9th June and deadline is 14 June 2021. They mentioned will revert in 3 weeks if selected for aptitude test but no response and status in careers@gov states as "Shortlisted" still any idea on what step i should take or just continue waiting for an email?

Just continue for the email. It will take time
