Quick question, if i'm overweight, age 27 this year, passed my IPPT yearly. Will it affect the outcome of my application?

Hi people! It’s my first time here on HWZ. I’m 22 female currently in university. Recently, I applied for the MHA scholarship hoping to secure a job as a SPO. I was shortlisted for the psychometric test but after that I was rejected 😔. I’m just curious if this will affect my application through the conventional career@gov next time? (Still determined to apply SPO after graduation next year!)

Hey Mafia3000,

Thank you for your reassurance! I'm just worried that I will fail the psychometric test every time :(

Regarding your question, I've read on forums that some people are overweight but the interviewers really liked that person, so they gave them a period of time to lose some weight before acceptance! But since you pass your IPPT yearly, I guess should be not many problems? All the best!!

I think the test is looking at your personal life values, response to ethical dilemmas. Probably gauging aptitude for the job. You could still apply after couple of years since when we experience different events in life, our thinking/perspectives could change.

Thank you for your insights!! I'm glad that psych test results changes. Hoping for positive results next time! :)
