Hi all, 1st time posting, I just went for my DES psychometric test on tues, may I know roughly I will know the result, cos I been following up on the previous threads, due to the **, seems like SPF has separated the SA into diff components at separate days.

My timeline as such.

Applied online in late July.
Zoom interview on 27th Aug
Received SA email on 1st Sep
Shortlisted for psychometric email on 7th Sep
Went to *** for psychometric test on 8th Sep
I am 32yrs old now btw, quite surprised I got until here so far.
Anybody did DES psychometric tests also on 8th Sep, met 2 chaps, but no time to get their contacts.

Some of us who applied as early as Feb have been waiting months for results

Theres still medical and document submission and idk some people have psychological interviews also but I do not think it applies to everyone

That why.
Seems to me that, not everyone has to go thru the psychological interview.
From what I have read, it applies only to DSI so far.
DSE dun seem to have, correct me if I am wrong.

If age is an issue, it will be a non starter to begin with

Follow up, you might have 2nd interview, submitting of documents and medical.

Just received a call from the recruitment guy, say dun accept my private dip, ask me if I would still like to proceed with my higher nitec cert. But sign on bonus n salary will be much lesser, I said just proceed.

Cos currently I am still left a yr on my PT degree.

Private or overseas degree is acceptable as long as the uni u studied in is a creditable in the country and accepted by sg gov

One way to check is u go career@gov when filling in ur resume. Check if the drop down got ur University inside.

If no have means not accepted
If have means OK good to go

Hope this helps
Edited. But private degree. Based on individual hr. U either get it considered or not

SIM
Degree from sim rmit, still left two sems

Why don’t you wait for, get a degree then apply for DEI? Assume, you’re being selected for DES route and your highest qualification that they pay you is still higher nitec.. even though you obtained your P.deg.
