Should I email SPF about my application? I fill like literally this long wait is making me want to just withdraw the application. Its been 2 months since any updates and like Ive completed everything its only a rejection or successful application email.............

Like I know some of yall will be like if you really want it you should wait blabla but Im literally jobless and its literally a waiting game of waking up to no news and going back to sleep and repeat Like its not even waiting for the next step of my application its waiting for the result and imagine waiting this long just to be rejected..............................

Why must withdraw? Until you get an offer you can always look for another job or take up whatever job you can find ma.

Then if u get offered u just decide whether u want to quit and take up this offer ma.

Email them thn but at this point of time if u need a job maybe go for part time or smth u shouldnt just wait if u need a job.

Lastly spf is a public sector they have to be strict etc this is not any normal job and many have applied for spf as well especially during this pandemic everyone want to change to public sector

If they dont reply your email just go find a job instead of waiting bah and good luck!

But of cos if I wanna apply PT theres not a lot of company that will hire cos yknow now they are limiting their amount of staff. And some has long contracts and all and I dont want to apply a PT job just to have s job. SPF is something I really want to pursue but yknow applied too late now I gotta compete w more people

But I don’t get why would you even want to consider withdrawing?

Why can’t you just look for another job in the mean time while waiting?

You are complaining about no updates but many already ask you to drop an email or call them. Including me. Like multiple times infact over a period.

What's the point to just wait if you never even bother to chase for an update? Is it you cannot find the hr email or? You already been through so much tests. Why not just approach to ask?

Also, being jobless is a 'choice' right now like cause everybody is saying you could get a job while waiting but you don't want. Then why counter back its cause of this and that.

If spf reject you how?
The more you wait without a job. The harder you going to answer your next employer with a gap in your resume. No point coming here to complain cause nobody going to offer you a job here also.

Also no such thing as late or not late. You hit their criteria and pass interviews. Late or not.is yours means yours.

And my response was because you mentioned there's no update for 2 months. And you asked if you should email.

If you know its being evaluated. Isnt that an update? I don't get it.

Basically spf just told you its in process isn't it. At the same time you don't want them to reject. It's not like radio silent no update uh. Ur career@gov still shortlisted means its okay uh. Not like its unsuccessful etc.

I mean if the wait is so bad, just go ahead to withdraw if that is what you think is best for you.

Don't know why need come to the thread to say you want to withdraw as a fun statement while many here wants the job like passive aggressive only. U withdraw is 1 less competition also.
