Hi I went for my medical in mid-may and SPF has asked me for the character referral check. My character referral replied them around late May-Early June. Since then I have yet to receive any updates from SPF, can someone share what are my odds of getting accepted haha

Yup DEI and I had my panel interview around mid-may as well. But the weird thing is when I email them to ask for update, its just radio silent

I applied for both SCDF and SPF. Did the medical for both 1 week apart. (SCDF: 3rd July, SPF: 11 July) SCDF got back and informed me to do body composition test with ActiveSG to check my bodyfat% and BMI. (My BMI is high). Now I’m worried I won’t get any offers because of my BMI. Still awaiting response from SPF.

even if this time not successful because of BMI, at least that's something you can change if you are willing to put in the effort

From the body composition test, my BMI is 30.1 with bodyfat% 27.9%. But my skeletal muscle mass is also about 120% so I’m
hoping they also consider that. I’ve heard of stories where they defer the enlistment until the numbers are better. Anyhow heard of any experience when it comes to bodyfat% or
BMI? But so far this is for SCDF no news from SPF yet.

damn i gotta go to CGH for some checkup. randomly got a text message saying they booked it for me on the 25th. no email from SPF side though. only email i got back from SPF was for character referee. this was ard 10 days after my medical check up.

hopefully can clear everything soon. dont want to wait till next year to join a batch ‍

Do you have any prior medical conditions? Any idea what kind of check ups they want to do? Just to clarify, they asked for character referee 10 days after your medical?

same issue pre NS. ECG reading had issues then they told me to go heart centre do a treadmill test. end up they said i had no issues. not sure what im doing at CGH but the appt is at the cardiac centre.

yeap they emailed me asking for a referee from my previous internship but so far no news of them contacting my supervisor. guess they will push for it after my medical is done.
