How about hugo boss ?

I remember many years back when i visit hugo boss, the sale person did recommend me a polo. But so far i never see that polo again.

The material is extremely soft and he told me that you wont feel hot of wearing it.

I really like it but that time already buy their boss shirt..budget tight.

So far any polo shirt or any brand you wont feel hot at all wearing it.

Polos no matter what brand will feel a little bit hot because the material is abit thicker. Shirts are more comfy in that sense.

How about hugo boss ?

Never tried. Ill go with Raf Simmons instead

Ferragamo is not a clothes maker. I have never bought any clothes from them, so i cant comment.

Hm, why do you say that? From what I see Dior's quality is seriously one of the best. Maybe its because the polos dont feel soft at first? some cotton get softer and softer after every wash, it needs to be 'seasoned' in that sense.

have you personally tried Dior before? I would like to give it a try. Are the light blue and Navy their classic design? Not keen on seasonal stuff.

Not the polos, im not into polos. But yes, I do have their shirts. Im not entirely sure if navy is a Dior Homme classic, but it sure is a recurring colour. Plus, it doesnt matter if an item is seasonal or not, if you like it just get it. Even if basic designs are seasonal, you can still wear it for years without looking dated because they are afterall, simple, tasteful and classy. Just to say, Dior's classic colour is Gray, so if in doubt...you could get gray instead.

PS: I really dont think something like this would be out-of-date and unfashionable anytime soon.

Personally i find the design of Dior shoes rather...pedestrian and boring. The quality is so-so at best.

Dior is a couturier and making clothes is what they do best. The quality of their shirts, knits, blazers etc are outstanding and the cutting, tailoring impeccable. I would rank Dior shirts as #1 (but thats just my own opinion). However, Dior shirts are around $780 each and I admit that is really, really expensive.

For other products such as belts, I would say its reasonable quality for its price ($400 or so) but ill go with Burberry instead.

Its a Bee, not a beetle and thats Dior's logo :p I guess this is why most people prefer Burberry even though the Dior cut is perfect for slim guys.

I think this one is a classic.

Not sure which season this is from, but no logo

Good thing is, Dior doesnt really paste their logo over everything. Usually there are polos without the logo

Burberry -- i dont like.

Find their design not attractive (their check on the collar dont attract me...although i got their wallet and bag, which i find it great).

I will go to the shop to test how good the material first.

The reason why i dont wear dark colour shirt due to luck factor.

Bear in mind that 100% egyptian cotton (im not sure what Dior uses for its polos since ive never bought any) is not soft to the touch initially. It might even feel a bit textured and rough. When compared to lower grade cotton, or satin / cotton, silk / cotton mixes, 100% high grade cotton is more scratchy at first touch. After several washes, it becomes softer and softer until it gradually becomes somewhat like satin. The good thing is high grade cotton retains dye well, and it will be very unlikely for it to lose colour unless you do not follow washing instructions. It'd also retain its shape and structure far better than inferior quality / mixed materials.

I have Fred perry

Made in china
Made in japan
Made in England
Made in portugal

I think Japan is the best but sometime quite confusing cos sometime Made in China can be quite good also.

It varies....but so far FP retain the shape quite well.

Dior is made from which country ?

For FP MIJ Is the best.

For Dior, it depends on which item it is. Different items are made in different places, But i believe the majority should be Italy.

Try Dior, Alexander McQueen, McQ By Alexander McQueen, Jil Sanders, Raf Simmons, Bottega Veneta or Louis Vuitton. They make great polos. But LV's fit is rather big so you'll need to actually try. and oh, its about $500+ for one if im not mistaken..

If your budget is closer to $100, Look for Brooks Brothers or Ted Baker.

I dont mind paying about $300 for a great polo and most important is the quality of the cotton.

But $500 is too expensive.

anything above $100 for a polo i find it ridiculous... i rather spent that kind of money on camera equipments and better shoes (like red wings).

:s22:

imagine a $500 polo can get me 10 $50 priced polos... or a camera lens, or a pair of red wings boots.

unless u have very deep pockets and dunno where to spent... else i think u should save up that kind of money and spent on "inferior" polos instead. unless u tell me u going to wear this polo for the rest of your life... then its a good investment ($500 for a lifetime).
