My friend considered it, but it's really expensive for the decent spec model($1600 for "6th gen i5 processor", intel hd graphics 520, 256GB SSD and 8GB ram) and u still have to buy keyboard separately. But if u have the money and can afford the 2k+ model then the 700g weight is very good to bring around.

Nobody consider getting Microsoft surface for poly use?

the 1.3k hp good thing is that it comes with 3 yrs batt warranty, which other brands do not offer, and is full hd display, design is similar to the one MOE school uses. i rather get the 1.6k asus because of its gpu and the upgradable ram, not forgetting its 3200 x 1800 display

My mother has been using this as her backup drive for a few years and it has been reliable. Not sure about their smaller ext hard drives though.

Any reviews on Maxtor 1tb ext hard drive? not sure of its reliability tho...

Besides the upgradable ram(cos i won't upgrade) is it worth 300 more? Is there alot of difference between 3200x1800 and full hd? Ps i not it geek ah lol. The weight is 1.6kg(hp) and 1.3+kg(asus)

lol, your is 3.5 and he is asking that 2.5. anyway my brother also using that ext hdd and still working fine, just that the case is usb port is quite weak and easy to break and end up i had to buy a new 2.5" ext case to replace for him.

but now sure of currently since that was like 6~7 years ago?

The asus UX310 has the gtx 940MX instead of the gtx 930MX on the Hp, which will allow u to do more graphics intensive stuff(higher game settings).
As for the diff between 3200x1800 and full hd, honestly at 13-14 inch screen size it should not be too different to the naked eye.
But I still think u should go down to the roadshow and look at the laptops in person and make a decision based on what u feel. That way u will have min regret instead of making decision now then regret later.
