If you will be spending exactly $1000 overseas then yes. Amounts in excess of $1000 earn 0.3% only.

I guess it shouldn't be that difficult to spend exactly 1000 (or slightly more) then switch to another card.

Having a trip in december and planning just that. If can't hit then just go to MY and pump petrol and buy groceries :s13:

I reckon this 5% is going to cover at least most of the transaction fees as well as currency conversion fees.

I'm surprised there's no master thread for this card, keeps dying and spawning new ones.

POSB just extended the dining promo from end Dec to end Feb, but the darn DBS lifestyle app still showing last month's promo as expired. Will they be able to track spending correctly, I wonder.

Take note POSB Everyday card starting April 2019 will cease to have Ez-link built into card.

So if you want please call in to request new card before April so they will send you one with renewed Ez-link built in.

Effective 10 April 2019, all new, replacement and renewal cards issued for POSB Everyday Card will no longer have the CEPAS function for EZ-Link transactions. You may use your new card for public transit. The fares will be charged directly to your credit card upon usage. No top-ups or reloads required; just pay for the ride with your card. If you wish to track your journey and fare history, register for a SimplyGo account or download the TransitLink mobile application.

You may continue to use your EZ-Link wallet on your existing card if the CEPAS has not expired or you may opt to request for a refund. For steps on how to get a refund, please visit go.dbs.com/sg-cepasrefund. You may check the expiry of your CEPAS at any General Ticketing Machine.

Thanks for the update. It is easy to request for a replacement through virtual assistant. :)

With the implementation of Simplygo next mth, ezlink card can slowly rip, starting with mastercard. By end of the year when visa come on board, ezlink purse will also rip. Next will be nfp purse on credit cards. Last one standing will the "pure" ezlink and nfp cards and concession cards, will these last longer?

Found in the FAQs

Q8. Which are the participating supermarkets to clock my grocery spending?
Grocery spend at the following supermarkets includes but not limited to Amazon Prime Now, Cold
Storage, NTUC FairPrice, Giant, Market Place by Jasons, Prime Supermarket, RedMart via Lazada
App, Sheng Siong.

So it's eligible.

min. spending is personalized based on past spending.

I cancelled this card long ago, don't know based on what to determine min. spending.
