Wait. Correct me if I am wrong. Isn't MCC code determined by HealthHub and not the card?

thanks for sharing your experience. I already submitted and received a successful waiver (at least DBS is instant when it comes to such). haven't seen it posted under 'Unbilled' yet but will wait a few days?

only thing I'm not sure about is that the current statement outstanding ($192.60) is due on 5 Oct. assuming they credit back the fees before 5 Oct, will I still have to pay the bill on 5 Oct or will the amount outstanding be nullified?

yes I should do this. thanks for the tip. no idea about this VTM. the debit card is free for life? or must do 12x transaction that kind of thingy to auto-waive?

anyway... apologies, I should have posted my query under the Credit Card sub-forum. a bit derailed from this thread. 🙏

@maumu

Yes, the waival will show up after a few working days, usually within a week will show up. So got to keep a look out for it. You'll see your statement balance goes back to normal after the offset. I believe it'll be on time before the 5th October.

May I know if I use Apple Pay to pay at the Sheng Siong point-of-sales (POS), will I still earn the Daily$? Because when I paid using Apply Pay, i do not have the option to keep or redeem the daily$ at the POS, and moreover, the receipt does not show the Daily$ information (how much Daily$ I earn, etc).

Now, DBS does not have the Daily$ statement also, how much we earn from the transaction...

January 2026 statement is still showing the Daily$ for me. If I am not wrong you can still earn Daily$ when paying via Apple Pay, but to redeem you have to use the physical card and inform the cashier.

to check total Daily$ balance, I know, either via Paylah or iBanking.

but to check statement of the Daily$, how much incurred per transaction at which date etc, they no longer have the option to show in iBanking (app and desktop).

I further confirmed with the DBS customer service, they said no longer can see the Daily$ statement but he had no idea last time got such thing. Maybe Mandela's effect from my side? :s13:

Also, he also confirmed that we are eligible to earn Daily$ if the payment is made by 3rd party app/service such as Google/Apple Pay.

Last time can check, after they change to new layout cannot check already.

ApplePay can earn daily$ at Sheng Siong, they just credit the daily$ when the transaction posts; using the physical card will have the daily$ credited immediately.

Dont redeem at Sheng Siong, use it for CC bill offset instead if not the amount you redeemed will not earn 5% rebate.

Use PayLah! App to use daily$ to offset ur PayLah! Transaction is also another option. The credit to ur PayLah! Wallet or saving account is inmediate.
