I thought people just buy cause they like the sound sig. And they buy different sound sig for different songs or they just alot of money. Else buy 2 of the same sound sig, can just stick with 1 right???

Complement means for diff sound sig lo. Like i got a bassy one i get a neutral one. Complement the bassy one when i wanna listen to more neutral stuff

There's no 1 IEM for all genres of music
Typically any IEM would perform better for specific genres

Hence, the idea of complement is to get IEMs of diff signatures so that more genres can be satisfied
Getting 2 IEMs of the same signature is a waste, ultimately they sound very similar

Amazing instrumental separation and bass. Since I listen mainly to post metal/rock, its a lot of guitar riffs, bass, cymbals and the occasional keyboard. the 400s takes in the genre very well. treble is a bit fatiguing and theres a bit of sibilance which is easily suppressed by a bit of EQ tweaking. it doesn't need a lot of power to drive although if fed well it delivers significant increase in sound stage "airiness" and depth, both bass and mids start to open up and becomes very forward. if you listen to rock, these are the headphones for you.
