Can I port my number from Starhub prepaid to M1 postpaid with a new line?
this is the path: starhub prepaid -> m1 prepaid -> m1 postpaid
BUT the conversion service frm m1 prepaid to m1 postpaid will only b introduced by m1 some time this quarter. i suggest keep calling m1 to confirm the conversion service is available b4 convert starhub prepaid to m1 prepaid.

Thanks !! Decided to Switch to Singtel instead of M1....

I ported my Starhub Prepaid to Singtel Prepaid today... and will convert it to a Singtel Postpaid next week.

As of now Jun2013 the only way to retain your perpaid number (M1 and Starhub) to post paid is via Singtel Prepaid -> Singtel Postpaid. The cost is $35 for the new Singtel SIM card when u are porting over. Let hope M1 can make it by this year. (The M1 service staff over the phone told me none of the 3 telco does port between per to post with retaining number. Singtel service staff told me they do allow port of their own number from per to post for free.)

I notice my >10 years HiCard is getting 3G network now. I believe they've upgraded the system without us having to manually change 2G sim card to 3G :)

Now my question is can we change the prepaid standard sim to micro sim while retain the same no.?

Yes, you may retain the same number and change the SIM card for a fee of $37.45. You'll need to visit a SingTel shop and bring your NRIC.

My sim card is very old & afraid the cutting may spoil it... I doubt Singtel give replacement for prepaid sim unless it changes lately?
