can i check with you if you face the issue of the printer getting offline after awhile and restarting the printer do not get the printer online.

read some review on amazon stating this issue.

erh i face this issue as well...

Called Xerox and they were awesome is solving that issue. All you had to do is to set the ip mode from auto to Static and solved

Hi bros, I'm a university student looking to get a printer at home so that I can print notes conveniently. These are my requirements.

1. Printing 80% mono, 20% colour
2. Print & Scan
3. Printing capacity per month = 100/mth
4. Budget = $300
5. Would be good if I can get wireless printing & auto duplex. Scan quality to be decent as well as I might be scanning photos or magazine cutouts.

Also, in this case would it be more recommended for me to get a mono printer and print my colour stuffs from printing shops?

Current printer canon mp568 decided to b200 error me and I don't know how to fix it and ink cartridge error ...

Mostly mono, once in a while colour.
Print Scan Copy (3in1)
Printing capacity = No standard.. Once in a while when needed.
Budget preferably less than $200
Other extra requirement like wireless, scan to thumbdrive.. functions same as mp568 would be nice..

Please recommend something value for money can last for years best is cartridge easily and cheaply available

My priority would be print quality, scan quality and stability (in terms of no paper jam). Doesn't have to print very fast and have many advanced features. Which would be better for my needs? Price wise, both seems quite close since promotions are still ongoing. Thanks for advice.

No doubt the answer to your qn is yes get the mono printer will be fine. Color printer is not a important factor to your grades. With your requirement if you go for color laser it will be $600-$700 plus

For mono printer, I recommend you get Fuji Xerox M225dw $239 nia with wireless and duplex printing.

CM305df no qn ask. You haven see print sample right. You see MFC-9330 print sample you will straight faint

I'm looking for:
1. Mono
2. Print only (Single function)
3. 100 pages/month (speed is not a factor)
4. As cheap as possible (<$100 if possible)
5. Wireless, auto-duplex, cheap replacement drums

Kind of shortlisted to Fuji Xerox P255dw and P265dw.
I am not sure why when i compare the specs, P255 seems better but older model?

Or any other recommendations?

I'm having a recurring issue with Fuji Xerox M205 f printer.

I'm a light user and after 3-6 months of use, every page will have somewhat faint horizontal lines. The lines cannot be gotten rid of no matter what I try.

The Fuji Xerox serviceman's solution has always been to swap to a new (same model) printer, and this has happened 2 times already. So this is my third set and it also developed the same fault after ~3 months.

I'm really appalled by the reliability of this printer. Anyone else seeing similar issues?
