Yes wait for IT show. Prices would be lower but if you dont like to squeeze then dont bother going down haha. U may have to wait for 3-4 lifts trips before your turn. Cabbing or driving would be a chore too

What I am considering are the brother HL-2270DW and HL-2250DN. Any other models/brand to recommend? Currently printing about 40-80 pages per week.

My inkjet printer also have uneven streaks of ink when printing black and white or colour. Any idea whats the cause? Have tried deep cleaning and stuff.

Brother HL-2270DW is a good printer that is well sought after by users that require duplex and LAN/Wireless capability mono printer. For Brother HL-2250DN model, it is not carried in Singapore.

For the original drum, it is going at $98 for 12k pages. Alternatively, you may go for compatible drum by our company. In which is would be cheaper. Prices around $50-$60 (to be confirm).

As for your inkjet, I would suggest you to discard it as the repair cost is not worth it. Rule of thumb for inkjets, their worth reduces by a great deal after their warranty coverage end. Some brands would charge you a diagnosis fee even before starting the repairs.

If you get toners from us, you could store it for as long as up to 5 years. There would be a storage guide inside to advise you on how to prolong the life span of your toners through proper storage.

Just go for the brother printer cause laser is way too expensive. For brands like fuji xerox, their colour A3 printer (print only) is already 2k+.

For laser printer, it uses powder as their consumables and we call it toner cartridges. Since it is in powder, it would not dry up even after months of non-usage. Print out would be sharp and crisp also. They also provide a lower cost per page.

For inkjet, it using ink as their consumables and we call it ink cartridges. Since it is in ink, it will dry up after months of non-usage. Print out would not be as clear as laser printer also. The only good thing about the print out is that you can print photos using photo paper and it would be fabulous. They have a very high cost per page. Not to add in the drying part of the ink thus you would not be getting the maximum value that you paid for.

For laser,
Fuji Xerox CM205b. (Currently top in the market)

For inkjet,
Either HP 3250 or Canon 3170 (This two models dominating)

My first priority, i live in dorm...lol...

Is it true that samsung toner actually comes with the drum itself, while not fuji xerox?
Cause i see their shape is like quite diff...

The samsung one is like long shaped, then fuji xerox its just one small tube...

So far Fuji Xerox has the lowest cost per page for monochrome series.

The starting drum they give you would be one with a page yield of 30k pages or 5 years life span. Pretty hard for it to be spoilt.

If no other choice, what HP model to recommend?

Print volume is very low, a few pages a month.
