I need a monochrome multifunction (with fax) laser with email to print facility (aka HP's ePrint).

Any other brand than HP to recommend?

If no other choice, what HP model to recommend?

Print volume is very low, a few pages a month.

thanks

Only HP have ePrint function.

you can take a look at this model M1212nf. But you have to use LAN cable to connect to a router before you can use the ePrint function.

So far Fuji Xerox has the lowest cost per page for monochrome series.

The starting drum they give you would be one with a page yield of 30k pages or 5 years life span. Pretty hard for it to be spoilt.

Hi I print about 20K pages per year. Does that mean that Fuji Xerox will replace the drum free when I hit 30K pages within the warranty period (extended)?

CP205 have a network output which you can connect to the router to make it wireless. Once you have done that, it supports iphone, ipad and android direct printing.

CP105b runs just on USB connection

Yes. But your cost of printing would be high unless you use compatible toners ;)

Just curious, why is Canon 3170 one of the dominating models when there are other Canon models like 4170, 5370, etc?

Hi all, nice to see supporters of Fuji Xerox printers haha!

I am Eric a promoter with Fuji Xerox for a year plus already.

Currently in the market, Fuji Xerox has the best colour printout due to their SLED technology.

FAQ
Will the prices of Fuji Xerox printers be lower on the last day?
-No cause they have to protect resellers margin. It is the same throughout all the brands for printer side. So no difference waiting for the last day. Unless you are a crowd lover haha.

What does 2 + 2 warranty means?
-It meant that for the first 2 years (parts and labour free) for the next 2 years (parts free but you have to pay labour cost $30 for carry-in and $60 for on-site)

What parts the warranty covers?
-Everything + drum. Only toners not covered.

Would toners be on discount also?
-Yes 15% off. You can buy and store up also as there is no expiry date.

If you guys would like to buy Fuji Xerox laser printers, feel free to contact me at 97712516 or look for me at Booth 8111 (the front booth inbetween hall 404 and 403)

For Brother printers, you can look for my friend Joe at 92290742.

What can we offer? in-depth knowledge about laser printers as we are experienced in it. Better discounts when you get from us ^^

PS. please do not PM me as I would not be able to attend to it. Please call/(best sms) us. thanks

I'm looking for a network-ready AIO. I'll be doing more scanning than printing though.

1) Must support major Linux distros.
2) Scan-to-file, scan-to-Samba will be good.

What are the available options? Asking a quick question before the show so apologies for not doing my homework. :D

Sorry, I dont really understand this part..

the tech says my paper has too much humidity so the colour will not be good. It needs to be kept dry to print right. If your room is air conditioned all the time it Is okay.

http://www.openprinting.org/printers

You can search over here but seems like HP is the few that is actively supporting linux
