must list your functions. whether you need b/w only, or die die want color. Scan/photocopy fn? wifi printing?

now laser printer cheap cheap. If you want all those fns i mentioned above without color, can get brother HD-2540DW, sub 200 range. Color will be in the 300 range.

say first ah, the wifi function might as well not have it. Want to print must be SUPER close to the printer itself. -.- but if you're printing through tablet/phone then ok lo.

Do you have an existing color printer? If so, just get a b/w laser printer lo. :)

no lea.... that one u talking about could WIFI Direct or NFC print .... Wifi enabled printers normally connect to the router just like how ur normal phone is connected to ur router. This printers once connected are treated like network printers.

erh i suggest buying lazer honestly, i had like 2-3 inkjets as i rarely use them even during my poly days, the inks always dry up before i can use the 2nd - 3rd time after a fresh cartridge. there are some cheap Mono Lazerjets with wifi function going around 100-150...

sometimes can check out Lazada or Qoo10 as well see if there are any deals.... u can also check out the lazer printer thread.... i bought mine from lazada although it turned out that best denki had offered the same price, lazada's price included shipping and savings from shopback lol..

yeap yeap. ink cartridge also quite ex.. long run it's not worth it. duplex printing b/w will be in the upper 150 range.

Get the google cloud print enabled wifi printer. Do not need to install driver in PC.

FX P225 has auto duplex and wifi options. I'm using it at the moment and it's been good!

Edit: P225 supports google cloud print as well

I also have another one P355 for small-office use. Similar features but bigger, faster speed and lower running cost.
