for that price. no brainer.. i will go for Mi TV instead of Prism+

Mi TV is lack of 3 years warranty coverage.
If I will you, I would skip Mi TV for sure.

Arrived today, unfortunately didnt check properly. Now realise got crack on screen.

Anyone got experience getting a replacement from them? Difficult/impossible?

Noticed that Prism says their is Quantum.. not Quantum dot.. is this meant to make people think their TV is as good as Qled?

These are just selling trick, same for TCL. Actually Quantum dot has been available for sometime. LG nano is one of them. There is similar for Sony too. So quality of quantum dot varies. Sometime it just means a better LCD panel.

Yes, 2nd and 3rd years only covers labor. Not sure if anyone try to repair it after 1st year warranty. I believe spare part is going to cost a lot compared to TV price. So you can safely assumed TCL has only 1 year warranty.

Can try connect pc to it and take a look. See if the chroma 4:4:4 is available. The setting will help words more readable.

Anyone checked to see if TV(s) is chroma 4:4:4 ?

Can a Prism android tv be used as a desktop pc? Can I install Windows in it, or on a linked external harddisk, and use the tv as desktop pc and switch to watching tv programs after desktop pc work?

If you go into TV Settings, there is a Fast Boot option that you can select to boot up faster.
