I also bought Bvlgari wedding bands..
Quite upset that I didn't know about JP before we bought our wedding bands... Both pairs cost $7.4k (Ladies - 5.5k, Guys - 1.9k).
The Ladies band has a 0.3ct diamond.. But it looks more like a crystal when I compare it next to the JP diamond :(

On the girdle itself? Would it mean the number is on the diamond itself? WAH!

I would suggest that you go for an appointment with JP. They give a very thorough lecture about choosing a diamond. There alot to know about buying a good diamond.

Your wedding band costs as much as your diamond ring
I thought usually diamond ring would cost alot more and wedding bands are usually cheaper.. I set aside about 2k for my wedding bands.. is it enough??

Hi Turk, what do you mean? care to clarify further?

Oops, sorry the the typo.. I meant more than 1 "birthmark" is still ok..
Like the diamond is a VVS2 but got 2 birthmarks can mean that each of them is smaller... whereas another VVS2 with 1 birthmark can mean that it is bigger or have more.

It really depends on individual on how much you want to spend on it. For 2K, you can already get a decent pair of wedding bands already.

Spend within your means. You have a house, reno, furniture and wedding to pay as well. :)

We started of as diamond newbies and had no idea of how to choose one. We were even confused between a wedding band and diamond ring and thought it was the same :o We bought the wedding band first much earlier... then discovered that there should be a proposal ring too... That's why my wedding band had a main diamond on it too..

If I had a choice, I would have gotten a cheaper wedding band and spent more on my proposal ring for a bigger diamond

Hi, I'm very new into buying a diamond. This is my first time buying one.
I always thought that carat is the most important thing but I see many people talking about the Cut. Which one is more important?

I would prioritize Cut over Carat. Whats the point of getting a big diamond if it doesn't sparkle?

This would be a good example. 3 different diamond cuts and a big difference in how they look.
