I have been visiting quite a few Private Jewellers who also practice keeping the loose diamonds in a fold paper like eclarity, Josi gems, Fairy's Inc and White Dwarf. This is seems like a typical way how they keep the diamond.

Sometimes i really feel so sorry seeing this kind of post. Like previosuly the post of "diamond falling out from the setting" and the recent one "buying hardwarezone user ID to post bad review about JannPaul". Whether it is true or not i believe we should be able to judge ourself.

We should always visit as many jewellers as possible to compare their service, quality and price before making any decision. Trust what we seen rather than just believe blindly. Who knows who is the one behind doing all this thing.

I was in contact with one of the partners of white dwarf today. So far so good. Sent me aset images and hna images and gia cert. Showed me the settings I like. We we see how it goes! :)

I have been reading this forum from part 1 till now for the past few months and decided to make a trip down today to JP.. Was served by David...

I must say.. after visiting SooKee, Leehwa, Goldheart.. i was only given a lesson in Soo Kee and i thought i knew quite abit before going to JP.. To my surprise, David gave me a whole new level of enlightenment in diamonds... Definitely encourage pple to give them a visit before choosing on their proposal ring..

My only disappointment is my gf get to know the price of the ring and i would suggest its better to bring them there get a feel of what they want and book a 2nd appt alone to secure the diamond (provided some1 else dint secure it.. their business really good i think seeing so many pple making appointment with them)... and also careful... bringing gf there will increase the damage done as well :s13: ..

Hi, I'm the original owner of Carouselmeister. I have proof of my ownership and have given evidence to HardwareZone Admin.
I too have sold my account to the buyer from Gumtree.
I do not wish to be involved with any of "Carouselmeister"' private messages, postings after the 16/10/2012 when I sold my account.
My Account was used to advertise Vivo Diamonds.
I have not visited their shop or bought anything from them before.

Hi All,

I'm making this post to clarify some of the matters regarding certain comments made to question JannPaul's credibility and ethics.

We have made some investigations on our part and will like to clarify the following:

1) Yes, we can affirm that some HardwareZone accounts have been illegally transferred for the purpose of malicious intent against JannPaul.

2) The aforementioned HardwareZone accounts in #1 have been permanently banned and we have obtained legal advise on how we may proceed to press charges against the involved parties for the breach of the following Clause(s) in HardwareZone's Member Terms and Conditions:

2. User Name, Password, Account Information
2.1 You agree that your Account is for your sole, personal use (or that of the entity on whose behalf you are entering into these Member Conditions). You hereby agree not to:

2.1.1 share with or permit others to use your Account or Password (defined in Clause 2.3); or
2.1.2 assign or otherwise transfer your Account to any other person or entity.
You acknowledge and agree that any unauthorised sharing or disclosure of your Password will cause wrongful loss to SPH and constitutes an offence under Section 8 of the Computer Misuse Act (Cap. 50A).

3) Further investigation is underway to curb this issue. HardwareZone will be introducing changes to ensure more accountability for member accounts

4) We will like to remind all members that HardwareZone takes the transfer of account very seriously and will not hesitate to take the strictest action against members who breach the Computer Misuse Act.

Great clarification admin!!

Is Vivo diamonds behind all these fake posts?

Bros n sis, girdle description as medium to slightly thick, faceted (3.5%). What does the 3.5% stand for?

its the thickness calculated as a percentage of the diameter of the diamond :s12: for example less than 1% would be thin more than 3% would be thick :s12:

3.5% refers to the thickness of girdle in percentage.

Thin, Medium and Slightly Thick are preferable averages for diamond girdles.

Girdle thickness is reported from min to max and commonly spans one or two descriptions (Thin-Medium or Thin-Slightly Thick for instance). The average is what is most significant.

Try to avoid those girdle above slightly thick. For example the girdle of Solasfera 0.57 G VS1 - "Slightly Thick to Thick" that you mentioned in your previous post.

Hi all, any difference between GIA and AGS?

Does GIA certified diamond generally cost more compared to AGS?

That will mean medium to slightly thick is fine I suppose. The 0.55 is sold. The after sales service I am getting is kind of disappointing slow. I was told by the service staff he will sms me the price quotes of other available ones on Saturday. I didnt get one. Today Sunday got a call, excuse was Saturday was busy. I'm fine with that. Told me that they had 3 other dimes, carat size n GIA number. I wanted the price and he told me he will SMS to right after the phone conversation. He needs to calculate.. After 1 hr I didn't get the SMS, I took the initiative to SMS Him, his reply was, I'll get it to u tomorrow.

I'm running out of patience. It seems like the delay was on purpose.

GIA and AGS are priced the same.. Then again, it depends on the shop on how they try to market the diamond to you.. like Lee Hwa Destinee is AGS certified and it cost a bomb. Or if you go to other high end brands, their diamonds are GIA and it can even cost more. Either way, there should not be any price discrepancy between both certificates.

But if you compare GIA and AGS with other certificates like EGL or IGI, etc. The GIA and AGS will cost more... That's because the other certs standards are not as strict.

just to clarify, we talking about AGS platinum light reports, lower end normal ags reports aren't good
