The diamond looks slightly tilted to the sideway in the Aset scope.. Can see it from the bezel light leakages part...

I remember I had that problem in the shop and he adjusted the scope for me to see again... then it's fine already... same for the photos...

hi guys... am still scouting around with intention to go to JP as my last stop. but just for my own budgeting purposes first, may I know how much would a Solasfera cost for the following parameters? just a rough gauge would do

1 - 1.2 carat range
VS2 - VVS2
G-E range

I know JP told me that Solasfera is about 15-20% above the super ideal cut.

I'm not too sure about 1-1.2ct diamond price though....

My guess is that it would be about between 12-15k?
Best is you email JP to ask.... they will give you a rough quote..

hi all, paid a deposit on my stone with JP casey some time back.

have a great day with casey and i actually choose something that is beyond my budget which i intially set it upon booking my appt with JP.

will be going down soon to choose my setting.

as i haven decide whether to go with a classic setting or side stone setting.

as i have pick a heart shaped diamond which the setting could be quite limited.

Cost me almost 18k, just the rock itself.

Was contemplating on getting the solasfera before the purchase.
Always felt a lil apprehensive on getting these exotic patented cuts.
before the solasfera and the breillia, i remember they brought in the brilliant lady which has a crazy 221-facet cut.

I guess eventually I went back to the classical 57 facets.
Was immensely happy with the stone.

See if your SO prefer to go with you or not.. You can still keep it a surprise by not letting her know when you are proposing. If she don't mind going with you, can bring her along to see the setting and diamond that she like.. You don't have to commit when she's there.. so she would not really know if you end up picking that diamond ring. Can just treat it as a window shopping

The diamond on the side looks like pear shape diamonds.. I might be wrong though.
