if purchase online maybe about $2k (you can check out from bluenile, jamesallen and etc), if you talking in store i think will cost about $3-4k.

I would take 0.78 F VVS2 - $2.

If you like it bigger, 0.78 otherwise 0.74..

0.8 price differ due to it being 0.8 tier and there's a chance after polish it becomes less than 0.8. Definitely not value for money.

0.73 exp considered not much diff E & F color.

Just my opinion.

Quite a hard choice... Hmm.. I'm leaning towards 0.78 F VVS2 too.. I'll be more willing to go for the bigger size and compromise abit on the color..

For me, i will need to see how much difference in your $1 and $2 because if few hundred, i will choose 0.78 else i will choose 0.74. sure will opt out 0.73 and 0.80

If most value for money, get the 0.78.

0.78 - $10k+
0.73 - $11k+
0.74 - $9k+
0.80 - $12k+

diff in price btw 0.78 & 0.73 is $600, while diff btw 0.78 & 0.74 is $1200

hard to make decision! and yes, i feel 0.80 is too exp!

I know their Solasfera range is more exy than their super ideals..
If you compare the prices with the Destinee Royale, even its its 81 facets only but with the 10 hearts and arrows, the Solasfera shld be still cheaper..

I think Solasfera should be compared with Sookee's Brilliant Rose. Destine Royale isn't very fantastic actually.

ok, so what people are saying is that solasfera cut is priced at a premium to other 'normal' cuts. But, when compared with other comparable premium cuts such as Destinee Royale or Brilliant Rose, Solasfera compares favorably in terms of price. Correct?

I have never seen solasfera cut. So, cant say....

But yeah, out of the other 3 Cs (carat, clarity, color), cut is the one of them that really don't have a uniform way of measuring.

So, i guess u gotta make a call. I am sure JP also offer non-solasfera range if u find the solasfera pricing expensive in terms of your budget....

She was enamoured with the Brilliant Rose but just too expensive. 7.5k can only get 0.4 - 0.5 ct only. Although the rock was so brilliant, it could pass off as 0.7 ct.

Solasfera is modified cut, usually these always cost a premium. I can't decide between which one is better, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, I would be hard pressed to see how the Destinee Royale even comes close to the Brilliant Rose.

Indeed, after looking at so many diamonds i think the Brilliant Rose really stood out and catch my eyes. Solasfera is a good choice too if you have a budget. Seems like now the trend is go for premium fancy cut diamond.
