Thanks bro Hollander and lurker_13 for the reply.
Will share the image and measurement once I have it. Tried to look for other specs like vs1 or vs2 within the same carat but quite limited stock though. After reading through hundreds of pages in this thread, I realized a lot of bros here can get 0.7 carat diamond at lower than 7k.

I was quoted around $6,700 for a 0.73 E VVS2 at JP before, so your statement on getting a 0.7ct (super ideal) diamond <$7k is correct.

Prices of diamonds fluctuates every month... so I am not sure if it is fair to compare the price this way =:p Cut quality can make a difference in price too.
If you are in no hurry to get a diamond, my suggestion will be to shop around and compare the prices before you take the plunge, at the same time request JP to look out for any VS1 or VS2 0.7c stones for you. I am curious why a 0.7c though? :D

Hi Bros,

please advise if this diamond is worth 4,100 as quoted. Trying to upload the gia cert photo, but offfice network is too slow.

round brilliant, .62, F, VS2, 3ex, fluorescence none.

Also, to calculate the HCA, how do we know the depth of the diamond which cant be found on the cert itself.

Thanks for your helps in advance.

The depth is there on the diamond report it self, you can also post here the GIA# and the bros here can assist from there.

About the price against it size, it is actually a good price for a .62 F VS2.

Do you have some scope images as well?

Example:
gia_2.jpg

Middle part near the bottom, 62.6% depth

Did they send you any proof that the diamond is inscribe with its GIA repot#?

If no, this is one thing that you need to do.

Bro, what is that for? Why do I need this? I need to check when I get home.

Bluenile is a trusted one, but to make sure that the diamond you have is actually the one you have purchased online ;-)

Usually the diamond report# is inscribe on the diamond ;-)

And you need special tool to see the#, if you have a really good camera macro lens, you will be able to see it.

I think that crown is the height and not the angle

Wow, 0.12 ct different is massively significant when u put side by side!

Perhaps a couple more picture of the side of the ring, and one with the diamond in focus would be nice. Actually a short video is the best way to show.

Very fast shipping! I'm impressed.

Hi Sir,

Are you asking about the a diamond with Fluorescence? There have been a good discussion on that and how it affects the pricing. It will still depends on your preferrence, but base on my reading Fluorescence can help enhance the color of lower grade/coloured diamond, lets say H-J it will help to minimize the "yellowish" color, and for highly graded diamond as much as possible it should be Fluorescence free, because those D-F colored diamond with Fluorescence will look a bit cloudy.

You have the GIA number?
From there can go to GIA website to see the cert.. easier that way
