anyone can share their opinions on the scope images?
the forth image, the center of the diamond appears greenish. is it suppose to be full red (no light leakage)?

Guys, care to shed some light.
Am I able to get a 0.5ct, colorless, VS range at JP with 2.5~2.7k?
The fourth image (ASET) is normal. The Solasfera should not have white (full light leakage). The green (less light return) is normal.
Congrats on your diamond![]()
Just got my scope images today. Could you guys help me take a look at these pictures and give me your comment about it?

Hi all,
I have a quick question. I have a diamond candidate in mind. It has an AGS 0 cut(ideal). However, when I enter the proportions into Holloway, it only scores a 2.5.
Any advice?
hi everybody,
im a diamond newbie, really need input from experts in this forum.
went to JannPaul last week and attended by Michelle.
I chose Super Ideal Cut diamond with the following specs:
1.05 VVS2 F $16,200
1.10 VVS2 F $16,800
the questions are :
1. Is it true that price of diamond in JP is fixed (non negotiable)
2. Am I getting the right price for that spec?
hope for your replies. many thanks in advance
Hmm or u can use the specs n compare with bluenile diamonds
C worth or nt
Hi everyone
Made a visit to JP, white dwarf and Josi Gems over the week.
My first visit was to JP and found that they sell really good diamonds. While the knowledge sharing session is very informative, I felt that there are over-emphasizing on cuts till it seems like a marketing gimmick to me. The diamond image they showed are really impressive but I am more concern about the actual performance of the diamond. while their diamonds also sparkles a lot, I wan to know if there is significant difference in performance between their super ideal diamonds with ideal diamonds sold else where. Hence, I visited white dwarf and josi gems.
White dwarfs and Josi Gems diamonds are very nice as well. Though the aset scope image at white dwarf and the H&A image at Josi Gems might not be as nice as JP, both me and my gf cant tell any difference in performance when looking at the actual diamond at these 3 stores. More importantly, the price is much lower at Josi Gem and white dwarf. (about $1.5k difference for 0.6ct, VS2, G, H&A). Personally, I felt that JP suits people who are looking for the perfect diamond (under the scope) while Josi Gems and white dwarf are more value for money. In addition, the diamond setting at JP is also more expansive. Was quoted $1200 at JP and $800 at Josi Gem and White Dwarf for the same setting. While I can understand their diamonds are super ideal (only noticeable under the scope) and hence the premium, wasn't quite happy that their setting was 50% more ex than other shops (guess there is no such thing as super ideal setting =P)..
Have read some bad review on white dwarf, but personally I felt they served me very well. Very knowledgeable and always willing to share. White dwarf does have their WD ideal series of diamond where the aset image are comparable to JP super ideal series. However, kelvin from white dwarf is honest enough to share that there is actually not much point getting a WD ideal instead of their standard ideal diamonds because the difference in performance is insignificant at all.
Josi Gems give me a homely feeling. The owner Simon is very sincere and not pushy at all. Another good thing is Simon is open to sourcing diamond for you without any deposit.
Hope my experience might be useful to other bros.
). I can see the difference in the quality of Cut for sure.. Being in my field of job, I'm very particular about numbers and performance.hi everybody,
