Actually I went to check out Amulet zehzeh's wedding place, rent the 1 night is $15k and they can do to what I want.

I want english style. Like knights of the table kind. Machiam those primary/secondary school sit canteen kind but with those vintage english chairs. The problem is can accommodate max 100 people.

good leh, we also targeting places with max 100 ppl or so, then can tell our parents, no choice, place is small, you only have COE for 20 guests, choose wisely

My own father side already need 6 table. Mother side another 4 tables. This is excluding daddy's business friends and girlfriend side.

But anyway, I'm just noting down like how much I need to spend and etc. Proposal ring will buy earlier first. In the mean time look out for BTOs next year.

Ok. Let me go scout abit more first.

Anyway. What do I need to look out for when buying gold ring ah? Any specific thing to check or ask etc?

999 is very soft and scratches easily. 916 is cheaper and slightly stiffer

Apart from Poh heng and the other local retailers, you can check out Chow Tai Fook at Ion for more intricate gold designs. Theirs is 999.9 so the price per weight is higher than the other local shops. ( I usually shop for gold jewellery in HK, if you happen to be there you can check out Chow Tai Fook, Chow Sang Sang and Luk Fook )

Pure gold is too soft , you have to ask if the jewellery is for daily wear. Many are just decorative pieces for the actual day. ( If your other half follows traditions ) Depending on designs, the 龍鳳镯 can dent if you are not careful putting on / taking off. Bracelets with thin clasps are a recipe for disaster even if for occasional wear.

For gold purchased in smaller retailers, you might want to check for certification.

Hi looking to get a ring from JP. Do I have to make an appointment or can I just walk in?

No need appointment. I walked in on a weekday afternoon and there was just 3 customers inside but still had the full diamond ring education and service was still excellent.
