Collected my decagon ring!! Total time taken was 2 months for the diamond to be cut and 1 month for the ring to be crafted. But it's all worth the wait!

Words cant describe how stunning and sparkly the diamond is. I took some photos with my phone. Sorry its abit blur. The cam keeps going out of focus because the sparkles was just too intense. The photo doesn't do the diamond justice at all.

The diamond is a 0.55 G VS1. Its amazing how bright the diamond is and I cant see any yellowness in the G at all. If I was to guess blindly, I would've even thought it was a D. Overall, the ring is very well made.

Their ring box is also very nice. There's the ring box which is inserted into another bigger metal box. Didn't expect a ring to come in a big outer box. Very classy.

Thanks for all the bros here with the tips and advice! Happy waiting for those who haven't received their decagons!

Nice! Don't mind sharing some pics when it's out of the box and its side?

Collected mine as well. Willl post after the proposal done :) Was really worth the wait, I was from the first preorder batch. The new designs with the decagon melees is super pretty as well u can actually see the arrows on the small decagons. The whole thing sparkles and at first I was abit worried the band would be too thin but realized it’s actually feels sturdy due to the thickness. The whole white series range is amazing was contemplating very hard on the decagon and their new round 10.

Btw those who collected, take it on a test drive in other jewelry shops lol. I brought mine to Tiffany and co and sk in Orchard just to compare abit under their lighting, if you think it sparkles when u saw it at JP, those brick mortar uses heavier halogen lights. My Decagon stands out from all of it. I’m actually surprised they didn’t put like a premium price on it, being patented and all. Was expecting it to be at least 40% more ex than the sic ended up close to being very close 7% more to be exact for mine

Thx! Its 0.8 VVS2 F. The diamond waiting time itself was abt 7 weeks. It cost 9.4k and with the plain setting about 10k.

I still stare at the decagon time to time and amazed how much it stands out. Thinking of how where's the best place to propose now. lol

It’s very difficult to assess through the hna scope alone, theres alot of misalignments and symmetry issues from the front, but the hearts picture is taken way off centre.

Congratss! Do let us know when you've proposed on share ur pics. The diamond shines very well in low lightings too. Don't need strong lights to make it sparkle. I brought it to a dark corner in my room, and it still stands out. Haha

The 0.4cts are in the 3k range and 0.5cts in the 4k range. Then the budget is also see what kind of setting you want like the plain ones or side diamonds. The plain was will cost less. I think if you get the 0.5cts in the plain setting, can still be in the 4k+ range.

Hi Anyone buy engagement ring from Whiteflash directly?

I searched their website and try to learn on how to view the scope. But i still dont know how to assess it. I have shortlisted the following with my budget. My gf is not diamond educated. Appreciate all masters here can give some recommendation for my references.

I suggest going to JP to learn more about the scopes then decide from there. I see the diamonds you shortlisted are quite messy and here and there. But I noticed that are mostly low colors. If I may suggest, try to go for better color grade. I find girls very sensitive to colors and can be quite picky on it. Unless you gonna have ring in yellow or rose gold, it might help with lower colors.

The SI1 clarity is abit scary. I'd bump for a higher clarity if possible too. And I won't get those flat 0.40ct sizes. It makes no sense to get them cos if the next tier jump. Aim for a high 0.3++ or 0.4+.

These are just some basic points I picked out on, but I rem there's still much more to it on the other stuff.

Sorry forgot to mention it's JP

Have the ring box + HA scopes when you collect the ring. The rest is more like the free resize, ring plating, ring polishing, engraving, prong tightening, cleaning, etc. service they give for the ring.

I think besides the crafting video, you can also get the ring photos too.

So i went down to JP and was served by Ranjit, very nice and knowledgable person i must say. I booked a 0.51 VS2 E SIC at 3.6k (diamond only), is this a good price?

GIA Report 5353367723, how do i find out about the HCA score?
