I changed cos is not the specs that I want. No worries, they very friendly. Just tell them your reason and they will understand.

because like another user mentioned, carat is just the weight of the rock. the part which you look at (usually the top) is the which will give you the view of how big the diamond will look on the ring/finger. so, by maximizing the table/crown part, the diamond will look bigger than normal.

It really pays to do your research when choosing a diamond man. Most of my frens automatically assume that higher carat means bigger size.

Got the octagon! Proposed awhile back on valentine's day. We went to bintan banyan tree where I popped the question.

Very Satisfied with my diamond now my gf looks at the diamond more then she looks at me lol.
It was a very last minute decision on the ring but Jerome suggested that I can try proposing with the diamond first without the setting since I couldn't decide on the design. He suggested to use a temporary diamond clip first to propose then go back with my gf later to choose the design. I think it is better this way cos she can choose her design herself

We had a romantic candlelight dinner by the beach where I proposed. Organized some fire works. Its only a $300 and there's a professional firework team. If you need the contact for them, pm me.

I was educated about the different price band for diff carat size and 0.7 is 1 of the critical level. Hence 0.71 carat size is not really a very nice carat size to choose in my opinion.

take existing ring for sample? can sneakily try to do it especially during night time when they go shower or do their beauty routine...they might take out ring to apply mask, essence, moisturizers, etc etc...

Or if you can get your hands on one of their rings that is worn on that particular finger, you can press it on a bar or soap or smth to get a mold of that shape lol

I just recommended JP to a friend, but he's asking about the certificates. Can someone advise on this?

Hmmm.. that's a good idea actually. Can keep it the diamond as a surprise and let her choose the design.

Hi guys. I have roughly a 3k budget for a ring. Where would you guys hunt with this budget? For Jann Paul with this budget I think only can get damn small ring.

I was looking at Blue Nile Diamonds, and James Allen as well. It seems Blue Nile got some reviews not so good, as the QC is not that stringent. Will probably go with James Allen for now.

Any other suggestions guys?

u can try Lovis, but from what I see their HCA scores are not consistent, can range from 1 to above 2

it is around 7k range. Do you think it is worth it? hearts and arrows are all very symmetrical.
