overseas! thats super hard to coordinate though cos its not like you can go recee the site beforehand (unless you really got alot of $$$), and neither do you know anyone there who could help with the pre-setups.. quite headache hahahaha

Here's my self-made Pokeball ring holder for my recently proposal in Japan.
Diamond was bought online but set locally at Ling Jewellery. Stone pictured is 0.71 cts

haha this one is effort max, though how are u going to keep a giant red-white ball from her during the trip? its gonna be very prominent right LOL

Received my 3d design. At first I wanted to do halo design with the small diamonds sorrounding Brellia and on the bands. Then I realise if I wear my e-ring with wedding band which also has side diamonds, it will be too much alreadi. So we changed to this instead.

Together with the wedding band, it will match nicely. The inner band have some subtle twisting design and got a small small diamond under the Brellia. Thinking if I should extend the twist design in a full circle (like eternity).. but problem is they say cannot resize in the future. hmmmm... In the future my ring size would be the same right?

like tt cannot get skinnier or fatter lor. but even if u resize, they also cut the ring up. last time my mum resize but they never close the cut properly in the end it kept kiaping her finger cos still got a slit on the ring.

Well it was only until just before the deed that she caught a peek of the pokeball. I kept it on me at all times in another pouch.

Nothing to worry about, the quality of solasfera are all same, only different is the angle that the photo was taken for the scope images which might vary a little bit.

I suggest don't do full eternity. In the future if she get pregnant, the finger size might get bigger.

Why did your GF not like the rings there? They do customisation on the bands, so really... its up to your imagination!

I got mine about 1 week for the first time and couple of days for the others after I placed a deposit.. They really have to put a lot of effort to get the scopes taken well! So be patient I guess!

I bet she's thinking the shop look old fashioned and probably some cheap and low quality diamond shop?

You should show her all those diamond educational videos on JP's youtube channel so she will know exactly whats the diamond quality of JP.

And yeah, its 100% customizable hence i don't see any reason to 'not like' Jann Paul except that she got the wrong impression of JP being a low end shop/brand.

The cut quality is different. JP diamonds are Super ideal cuts and they show it with all the scopes. Eclarity is those normal jewelry places that sell just based on the certificate. They don't use the ASET scope to examine their diamonds

I believe the signature diamond they sell at eclarity is more to ideal level and not super ideal.

To be honest, in naked eyes point of view, the difference between ideal and super ideal is very minimal (maybe 5%-10% more bling?)

It's up to individual how particular and how willing they are to spend the additional to maximize the sparkles
