Reasonable, it's D color that's why more expensive.

We shopped for the ring together. I'm not a romantic or play surprise type of guy.

We chose the rock and the setting together. Price also she know liao.

Solasfera is patented cut, all the scopes will look the same. No worry on it.

Solasfera has a lot of small blinks looking from close, more like a glitter.

From far, super ideal is more noticable.
From close, super ideal also give sharper blinks.

I considered Solasfera but went with Super Ideal in the end, it's more practical. :o

Same opinion as my partner, she prefers super ideal, well, unless you're looking at 2-3 carat Solasfera where all the small blings becomes big blings :s13:

Hi all,

I'm currently in the midst of looking out for a proposal ring. I don't know to set at what budget but my colleagues all say $6k max. So i would set a budget of $6k max for the proposal ring. I don't know where to start either. I only know how to buy computer parts.

Can i just check, regarding the specs that i see you people have been talking about, i should be looking at cut and grade. Any recommended specs? Like at my budget, what grade and cut i should be looking at if its at JP? :s11:

That depends on what's your GF ideal diamond size, if it's 1 Carat, you're going to be looking at 10k~ for an ideal cut. I'll suggest minimally an ideal cut, can go for Super ideal too if Budget not your concern

Budget would be $6k max. I need to know what are the things i need to look out for. I seriously have no idea where to start.

Engagement ring buy abit more expensive. Wedding bands buy cheaper. Got people do like that? :s11:

If you want to walk in, suggest go during the weekdays, before 5pm.

But it's better to make appointment so they have an idea of what u need.
I made appt on a Saturday morning and went in the evening.
Ranjit don't work on Sunday if you wanna look for him.
