Gotten my engagement ring & wedding band from JP.

Super ideal cut 0.42 E VS 1 with simple setting @ SGD 3250
Wedding band @ SGD 2k / Pair

Service is good and happy with purchase :s13: , but a little bit off budget. Was intend to get them within 5k.

so whats the good card to use for the payment ?

Hi

Newbie here. planning to propose to my gf in 2 months time.

However, a bit lost not sure which brand to go with. I planning with Tiffany and Co / Love and Co or Soo Kee.

It would be better if any of the above offers the installment plan with credit card. Any of you can share if any of the above merchants offers such plan?

I'd recommend you to go for the 2-hour diamond education session to learn more about diamond, before embarking on the hunt for the ring. Since time isn't really on your side, it's best to start early.

If budget isn't too tight, since you mentioned Tiffany & Co, you'd probably be better off getting a better grade and cut diamond at JP at a better price compared to the 3 names you've mentioned.

JP also offers 6/12 months instalment plan with most banks, so that'll probably help as well.

If branding and the blue box is important to you, then go for Tiffany. Love and Co and Soo Kee is where newbies get chopped. These brick and mortar stores are overpriced for the quality.

Received the scopes for the diamond I've gotten. 0.63 Super Ideal Cut F VVS2 HCA 1.0. Looks pretty okay to me. Feel free to share if have any comments regarding it!

Scopes are good. You see all the people sharing the scopes in the old posts from JP, their standard is top notch already.

Thank you for the feedback. Definitely agree with that. Now in the midst of ring design stage. Looking forward to the 1st 3D render by their designer.

I would like to provide my review for Jann Paul

I was hunting for this engagement ring upgrade for a couple of months and I knew I wanted a super ideal diamond. I initially looked at online US vendor but finally found JannPaul while searching online. I then made an appointment and was attended by Casey.

Casey is super patient and gave me a competitive pricing even compared to super ideal diamond from US vendors.
The diamond quality is above anything I've ever seen and even though I was so fickle about the spec, Casey was being so patient with me. Just FYI we exchanged around 100 email from the beginning until the ring was ready to be picked up.

The final ring definitely exceeded my expectations (and I'm a perfectionist). It was icy white, so sparkly and looked larger than other diamonds with the same carat I tried elsewhere. I actually went to a few other jewellry stores like Tiffany, Graff, Cartier and the sales persons there made remarks of how large and beautiful my engagement ring is. Some were curious enough to even ask about the size and color of it.

During my 3 trips to JannPaul, I was attended by Joy once when Casey was not available. She was a joy to work with and I feel that everybody at JannPaul definitely has a high level of services and are passionate about what they do.

I wish I could upload a picture of my ring but I don't have enough post to do so.

Some handshot photos will be nice. You can upload them paste the link here, and we can upload for you. You might have to break the links apart for the post.

Ok. Thanks in advance!

My ring is a very simple solitaire, as I like simple things. Pls pardon the bad photography though and my fatty finger 🙈

Thank you @theblueark for helping me post the pictures

I think they have some demand for 2ct as they do have a few stock to choose from including a larger 2.5ct. I believe if no demand they won't put in stock

Btw, here is another handshot this time with my wedding band. But I sometimes stack them like in the picture and sometimes I wear separately. Which one do you think look better?

Woah! 2ct!! :s22:
Very nice ring! I like the simplicity of it with the combination of the thin band. Really like the side view of it.

Posted your E-ring and WB combo. I thought its usually the E-ring first and then the WB after? Maybe I'm just used to seeing the E-ring at the top, I think it looks better that way. The WB design is more complicated and in most cases, it'll be hard to match with the E-ring. But because your E-ring diamond is sooo big, I think that design is still ok =:p

Thanks for posting my eRing with the wedding band. Appreciate it.

I didn't know that the stacking is supposed to be eRing first and then the Wedding band on top 🙈 Hahaha
I just like the look of eRing on top of the wedding band so I wear it that way 😁
