Yes, from JP. Just went down today and decided to go ahead and put down deposit on the ideal 0.41c.

Not as perfect as a super ideal but generally quite satisfied with the appearance in both light and shadows and was nearly (if not the same) similar quality to the super ideal (spent about 1h looking at it before finally deciding to go ahead)

I think u’ve done well with your budget. An ideal is still a great stone

6k budget if u go to poh kim can get 0.7+ carat include setting

For jann Paul, can get about 0.63C if lower colour and clarity. I just got mine for 6500$ (D, VS1, 0.63)

I also had a headache choosing my ring design..!!! Kept scolding my bf like why didn't he just decide cuz then all I had to do was to accept. But he played it safe. Rather I choose my own design then in future can't blame him if I don't like cuz my decision haha

I ended up choosing a simple design cuz I couldn't find the best way to combine S and N and I just felt like JP couldn't come up with any more that I could consider.. Dunno if I'll regret it down the road xD

Been reading up this forum and other websites, as well as visiting several shops. Finally made up my mind to go with Jann Paul as they had the most value for money and excellent customer service. Got a 0.77 G VVS2 for $7.7k (SIC) and I can't wait to receive it in a few weeks time. Just wanted to say thanks for everyone's feedback and all!

I need some advice, I have been to Meyson jewelry.

They showed me 2 diamonds of 0.40 caret.

- 1 is D VVS2, 3EX, certified GIA - 2608$ with the ring (their signature)
- 1 is G VS1, 3EX, certified GIA - 2155$ with the ring.

This seems pretty cheap, I have 3k budget. I looked at the 0.5 but lady has small fingers, I don't want it too big...

Opinions?

Haha! Choosing the diamond was the easiest part lol. But the design was the worse lolz. Scare she don’t like later headache haha

Yes, OK I ask the GIA report no.

Both are great vendors, no harm seeing what they have to offer u.
But for your budget, I’d go HOH

HOH and are JP are related . The owner of HOH is the father of one of the co-owners of JP, Paul of JannPaul.

Basically HOH carries ideal cuts while JP carries essentially super ideal and their signiature cuts . Their salesperson will serve for both entities so if u looking for ideal, they will bring you to the HOH side of the shop and if u will want super ideal they will bring you to the other side of the shop to browse.
