How come HoH 15k can get 1.3 carat and above, but JP only about 1.01 carat for same price?

If u can’t tell the difference and not particular about specifics then just get it from HOH

Hi what do you mean by sic ?
Im actually thinking of 0.35-0.4ct with VVS1/VVS2 , D-G Colour Scale and Excellent Cut . Around how much would be the damage with just a simple settings?
P.S im a newbie in these .. And havent bought from JP before as their website doesnt show diamond pricing

So let's say i have a budget which is 2k , 500 for settings , So 1.5k left , So what are the best grade i could get ? Reconsider clarity needs as in downgrade to VS1/VS2? Are they visible from a humans eye? and does it affect the bling of the diamond?

Only the cut affects the bling.
Based on your eclarity selection, even if u picked D, Internally Flawless, you could get a stone with no bling.

You are not comparing the same thing.
BGD can call it in for u but even so, it’s a deep cut stone

Went for her "gemologist talk" before and she doesn't really pitch and enforce about hearts and arrows using the scopes to define good diamonds but more on the pragmatic approach of choosing a diamond which is still generally "good" according to your budget and requirements.

The offset and trade-off for this I believe will be her offers for free resize, annual spa, discount on wedding bands etc to give huge savings?

I have a lot friends went to her due to the huge inventory she has and the huge savings they can get. Hence I went to listen to her talk but did not get anything from her but more of using the pricelist as a baseline for my reference which I end up getting hearts and arrows (paying more).

Anyway when the diamond is cast on the ring setting, u cannot use the scopes already la and your "wife to be" probably also don't know ?

If 0.3 (in terms of size) is not her concern, then giving her a good stone will be good? But for me 0.3 to sparkle doesn't really have much effect as it's really small (unlike 0.5 above which can see bigger difference bcos of size & it's clarity).

The eclarity stone you picked has Medium fluorescent so it’s not really too good to be true. Stones with flouro are sold at a discount. There’s a potential that it would look blueish under sunlight or if u go clubbing ... lol not sure if u like that look

Ive read up , If thats so try to get one with has non flourescent? Is it possible to see if one has none of faint fluorescent? Even if it mention it has none
